~Skylar's POV~

[Skip one and a half months to the first day of school]

I sat in my bedroom drawing, and waiting for the bus. It got to 7:50, before I realized something was fishy. I set the sketch book down, and walked down to my aunts room. I heard a movie playing, and nothing else. I sighed and grabbed a bottle of water before going to back to my room. I was already going to be late for school, so why even try?

I kicked off my shoes, and sat back on my bed. Five months. I don't think I'm going to last that long. I mean, I was already going insane just sitting here. I shifted on my bed, and looked at the drawing. I hadn't been paying attention to what I was drawing, I was just... Drawing. And I kept doing that, for the past week. I started at the beginning of the book, never have been focusing too much on what I actually had drawn.

The first picture was Seto and I's minecraft skin. This is the drawing I drew right after our first kiss. I smiled at the memory, but it quickly faded, when I got to the next picture. I didn't even remember drawing this one. It was me in the car, on my way to the airport, Seto and all the guys in the back. The only thing standing out was Seto, and he was the only colorful object in the picture, the rest was black and white.

Every picture throughout the rest of the sketchbook, was of either Seto, or Seto and I. There was never anyone else. Just, us two. A blob of water fell down, and splattered on the paper. My door creaked open behind me, and the bed sunk down. Cooper sat down next to me, and started crying also.

"Skye. Don't cry please. It makes me sad." I sniffled, and wrapped my arms around Cooper. He hugged me back, and we stayed like that, until my door slammed against the wall. "Psh. Pathetic. Listen up. You aren't going to school for the first semester. I don't trust you enough, to not go use the schools, or any of your friends phones, and call that boy. So you will stay here, until I allow you to come out at lunch." She slammed the door shut, and Cooper looked at me.

"I don't want to leave." He started shaking, and sat on the far corner of my bed. I sighed and pulled my sketch book out, turning to the last blank page, I had left. I started sketching, and halfway through it, my bedroom door opened again. I looked up, just in time to see Steve. I quickly shut the book, and went to stand in front of Cooper. Steve looked behind him, and then at us. He tossed us something, and quickly shut the door. I heard his footsteps fade down the hall. I waited till I couldn't hear them anymore, before I investigated the object.

More or less, I felt like Sherlock Holmes. I picked up the object, which turned out to be a Walmart sack, and dumped everything onto my bed. I half expected some poisonous objects to fall out, but instead, I got packages of food. I stared at them, and noticed a piece of paper. I wearily picked it up, and read it.

'Heres some food. I understand it's going to be awhile. -Steve' I dropped the note, and looked at Cooper, who was now searching the food also. He grabbed a small piece of bread, and took a bite out of it. I shrieked and pulled it away from him. He smiled and nodded his head. I waited for him to just keel over dead, but nothing happened. In fact, his skin started to darken and not be so pale anymore.

I looked down at the available food, and cautiously picked up a granola bar. I bit into it, and felt my stomach grumble. I haven't had anything but a piece of bread each day, for the past week. I quickly ate the entire granola bar, and had to resist myself from eating another thing. If I wanted to keep fed for the next who knows, I'm going to have to save it. I handed Cooper his bread back, and he bit into it, and then devoured the entire thing. Gawd, it felt good to eat.

2 and a half months passed, and each week we got more food from Steve. He always seemed to be doing it whenever my aunt was occupied, or she was out shopping. It started to become annual, and for three months it went on. I hadn't gone to school in three months, talked to friends, or done anything with society. I'm not even allowed to leave my room, unless it's to do chores or use the bathroom.
