Luke's P.O.V.

It had been a couple of months since Calum had made the marriage proposal to Ashton in their apartment that night. And from that moment on, there wasn't a minute that Ashton didn't talk about it. As for me, it's been months since I had no problem with alcohol. I still had some small fallout here and there, but Michael was always there to help me. He'd never yell at me, just tell me that next time I should be more attentive to myself. Speaking of Michael, I can say I love him more than ever. I didn't think I could be able to love Michael any more than I already did, yet it was possible. I know it may sound bad to say such a thing, but on the one hand I was happy that Michael had come back to behave like a child for that period of time. The incident taught me to love him even more, acting as if every moment with him could be the last. There were also doctors visiting him, in fact every month we went to check to make sure everything was all right. And what the doctor said, Michael is no longer at risk of returning as before. I also told him about his past and his old personality. He took it better than I thought, but he hardly ever talked about it. Obviously it's not a very nice topic to talk about. It was that day on July 13, the wedding day of Ashton and Calum. Ashton had insisted on marrying as soon as possible, and Calum had answered him with his usual: "Yes, darling" to see the two all in love was adorable but sometimes even annoying. It reminded me when Michael and I were supposed to get married, only that neither of us knew where to put his preparations. Unlike Ashton who did nothing but read every single wedding magazine he knew. Calum had asked Lauren and Lily to bring the flowers during the ceremony, both were enthusiastic about the idea. The wedding was not in a very traditional style. There were two witnesses and two bridesmaids. I was the witness of Ashton, and younger sister Lauren was her maid of honor. While for Calum, Michael was his best man and Mali, his elder sister, was his damsel. It was not a big event, there were not many people and it was held on the beach. They both wanted something intimate, only with the people they were most connected to. At that moment I was in a tent where the two future spouses were finishing preparing for the ceremony. It was divided into two parts so that they could not see each other. Ashton was sitting there with his tuxedo on him as he nervously nibbled his nails. "Ashton, stop biting your nails. Everything will be fine. " I said, taking his hand off his mouth. "Excuse me, Luke." He sighed. "It's just that Calum and I have worked so hard for this and I just want everything to go well." "Ash, designed every single detail of this wedding. There's really no risk that anything can go wrong. " I assured him. A moment later they entered Lauren and Lily with their little blue dresses, and sat down beside me, showing me a big smile. "Hello Dad!" Lily greeted me, and then she went to embrace Ashton. "Thank you, Uncle Ashton for choosing us to bring the flowers." Thanked Lauren. Ashton smiled and shrugged. "Well, I couldn't have chosen better." He said, winking while at that moment my mother came in. "Ashton, Calum is ready for the ceremony. We have to move on. " She announced, then disappeared a moment later. And that's where the boy's nerves began to stretch. They all went out, except him. "Hey Ash, you'il be fine. Everything will go as planned. " I gave him a last pat on the shoulder and finally I went out too, finding all the guests at their stations. I headed for Michael, not being able to help but smile while watching him with his gown, which also matched his new dark purple hair. "You're all right," I told him once I reached. "You too." answered him. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and could feel Mali and Lauren complain playfully. When the music began to play, the two twins came out with their baskets full of petals, which they threw to the ground as they advanced through the corridor, and all looked at them tenderly. Then they advanced Mali and Lauren, who reached their respective positions: Lauren on Ashton's side, and Mali from Calum's. At that point, I intertwed Michael's arm with mine, and we also advanced, while people smiled at us; And before he reached each his station I left another kiss on the cheek. When Ashton made his appearance at the beginning of the corridor everyone stood up. He and Calum looked into his eyes as if they were the only people that existed at the time. When the ceremony came to an end it was the moment of the reception, which was held in a restaurant always on the beach, at least to stay on topic. I kept an eye on them most of the time, they seemed so in love. When they had time to sit and relax they chatted and never moved their eyes from each other. "I am happy for them." Michael said while we were on the dance floor and swinging to a slow pace. "They both deserve to be happy." I agreed. Then we continued to dance a little more, exchanging kisses here and there. Seeing how happy Calum and Ashton were, I knew I wanted to be as happy as they were and I knew exactly how.
