The war started.

Clangs of swords and arrows being shot could be heard everywhere. Ara immediately went down from her horse to have more access of movements in case someone shoots an arrow at her. She didn't know what the two kingdoms are trying to retrieve from this fight but she went along anyway.

She looked to her right, surprised to see already a lot of creatures being killed. Explosions were everywhere, a simple wrong direction could get you hit by an arrow, not being careful enough could get you stabbed by a sword, not paying attention enough could get you thrown by the giants. It was a catastrophic situation.

Ara was startled when a woman that seemed at least five years older than her approached her and decided to have the fight with her.

"You, you're the one that took Jungwoo away from me. I already planned on getting close to him through Sicheng joining the kingdok then your name was suddenly cited saying that you two were together. You two aren't even the same kind" The woman chuckled

"It doesn't matter whether we're different from each other. Why? You're almost the same as him but I don't see any interactions, do I?" Ara said, triggering the woman

"And also, how could you take advantage of Sicheng for your own tendencies to his brother?" Ara added, preparing her daggers

"Atleast I didn't take advantage of him like you did to Jungwoo" The woman replied, suddenly swinging her sword to Ara

Thankfully, Ara dodged it just in time. They fought and fought and fought. Until Ara's hair was pulled as she was pushed down harshly to the ground.

The woman chuckled
"Seems like it's the end for you, little human" She said

Ara struggled, the woman did sure use all her strength to Ara. Ara tried escaping from the tight grip but stopped.

She felt a sharp pain from her back, weakening her. She was struggling to breathe. Suddenly, an even sharper and deeper stab reached Ara's back. She screamed, not being able to keep it up anymore.

The pain of stabbing suddenly stabbed, the woman was killed by someone else. Ara exhaled deeply, her vision becoming blurry.
Was this the end? She thought. Will she not see Jungwoo before she goes back to her world? Will she never meet them again?

She was surprised she was still conscious. She was still feeling the sting of the stabs but she was somehow still able to keep herself awake.
Ara looked at her left, widening her eyes when she saw Taeyong kicking Jungwoo hard to the ground, splashing sand into his eyes.
Ara knew what he was planning, but she wasn't strong enough.

Taeyong lifted his sword, ready to stab Jungwoo who was on his stomach on the ground. Ara closed her eyes when she saw Taeyong swing the sword, not letting herself see the result.

A tear escaped Ara's eye, sad to see the man she loved the most be killed right in the very front of her eyes, or was he?

Ara slowly opened her eyes, expecting Jungwoo to be lying with blood all around him, but that wasn't was she saw.

Taeyong looked up, surprised at the sight. The sword landed on Sicheng, the bloody body in front of him was Sicheng's and not the boy he wanted to kill. Taeyong panicked.

"How c-could you do t-this?" Sicheng struggled to say, falling on his knees

Taeyong grabbed Sicheng, trying to help him but Sicheng yanked his hand away.

"D-Didn't we already have a t-talk about this? That y-you're gonna leave J-Jungwoo alone if I g-give you all I c-can from the kingd-dom?" Sicheng asked
