Part - 17 Shock

Vineet moved down to the hall as the sounds were coming from there.. As he reach, he gets surprised to see the whole family arguing over something.. Vineet stand in a distance and try to figure out the whole matter going in front of him.. He spot Ajay in the middle and was shouting over his Aunt Nandini while Sushmita his mother was trying to stop him..

'chup ho jaa Ajay.. Bas kar, khatam kar baat ko' Sushmita said trying to pull Ajay to aside..

'nahi maa, mujhe aaj chup maat karwao..aaj main bol ke rahunga jo ye log kar rahe hai wo sara sar galat hai.. Aur issi baat ki inhe saja milli hai.. Humne pehle hi kaha tha jo log shadi se pehle itne lalchi hai wo shadi ke badh kya karenge, par ye nahi maan rahi thi hamari baat.. Aab pata chala hoga inhe hum kitne sahi the 'Ajay said in a loud tone..

Vineet who was standing at a corner was still confused..

' Ajay.. Thori si bhi sharm baki reh gayi hai na toh apna muh band kar le.. Ek toh itni badi musibat aan padi hai aur tu behes kiye jaa raha hai 'Janaki said angrily. She turned to Sushmita and said.

' bhabhi aap hi kyun nahi samjhati apne bete ko.. Ya aap bhi iski taraf ho chali hain 'she said sarcastically..

' bua.. Maa ko kuch bolne ki zaroorat nahi hai aapko.. Aur main galat hi kya bol raha hoon jo maa mujhe samjhayengi.. Ye aap logon ka lalach, swarth aur ghatiya pan tha jis mei aap log un log se rishta kar baithe the aur Devika ki shadi karwa rahe the.. But I'm happy ki ye shadi tut gayi.. Un logon ne khud tod di shadi.. Bahut aacha hua.. Kam se kam aap sab gunah karne se toh bach gaye, Devika ki life spoil hone se toh bach gayi 'Ajay said, happiness was clearly visible in his face and voice..

Vineet at first gets shocked by the revelation it took him a couple of minutes to understand everything, then a smile crept on his lips..

Nandini turn Ajay towards herself..
' tu keh raha hai ki Devika ki life bach gayi.. Arey barbad ho gayi uski life.. Shadi ke din uski shadi tut gayi hai log toh yahi kahenge na ki hamari Devika mei hi koi khot hai..' Nandini said and sat down on the couch crying..

Ajay set on his knees in front of Nandini' aisa kuch nahi hoga.. Koi kuch nahi kahega chachi.. Sab ko pata hai wo log kaise hai.. Aise mei iss rishte ka tut jana hi aacha tha 'Ajay said.. Nandini looked at him with teary eyes.. She was fearful for her daughters future..

Janaki who was standing at a distance came forward and said' kaise koi kuch nahi kahega.. Saare seher mei hamari naak kat jayegi.. Log mazaq udayenge humein dekh kar kahenge 'wo dekho ye ussi ghar ki hai jiski beti ki shadi ke din ladke walo ne shadi tod di'.. Aur wo Devika uski zindagi toh narkh se kam na rahegi.. Kon shadi karega aisi ladki se 'Janaki spoke sarcastically..

' buaaaa 'Vineet shouts from his place..

He moves towards them saying' aapko sharm nahi aati apni hi bhatiji ke baare mei aisi baatein karte hue, usne kiya hi kya hai jo aap aisa bol rahi hai aur koi uss se shadi kyun nahi karega..uski kissi disability ki wajah se shadi nahi tuti hai.. Shadi un logon ne todi hai apni marzi se.. Sirf iss se Devika galat nahi ho jati kyunki ladke walon ne shadi todi.. Aur jahan tak baat rahi logon ki toh log kya kahenge ya kya sochenge uss se fark nahi padta, matter toh ghar walon ki soch aur baatein karti hain..par agar ghar wale  aapke jaise ho toh kya kar sakte hai, jo dukh mei apne parivaar ka sochne ke bajay logon ka soch rahi hai ki wo kya kahenge.. Wahhhh 'Vineet said angrily..

Ajay stood up' rehne de Vinu, tu kisse samjha raha hai.. Jo khud ka ghar aur parivaar nahi sambhal payi aur sab chod ke yahan chali aayi wo dusro ke baare mei aacha kaise sochegi 'Ajay said to Vineet eyeing Janaki..

Janaki was married in a good family, her husband and in-laws love, care and always support her.. But her behaviour towards them was not good.. Most of the time she use to argue with her husband and mother in law for small small reasons.. Lastly when her sarcastic and taunting behaviour became unbearable for them her husband left her..

Janaki gets angry she turn to Sushmita 'Aab aapka beta mujhe ye taane bhi dega bhabhi ki mujhe mere pati ne chod diya hai.. Ek toh main sabki bhalai ka soch rahi hoon aur ye mujhe hi taane maar raha hai' she shouts..

'nahi..nahi..Didi iska wo matlab nahi tha.. Iski taraf se main aapse mafi mangti hoon' Sushmita apologize and join her hand.. Vineet held her hand..

'Maa, tum kyun mafi mang rahi ho.. Aur ye hath jodne ki zaroorat toh bilkul bhi nahi hai' Vineet said looking at Janaki angrily..

'tu toh chup hi reh vineet..ye hamare ghar ka mamla hai' Janaki said..

'vinu ghar ka hi hai, bhai hai wo mera' Ajay yelled..

Nandini who was listening all this silently sitting on the couch, stood up from her place and shouts 'aur tumhare issi bhai ki wajah se meri Devika ki shadi tuti hai'..

All gets shocked.. Vineet was hell shocked..

'meri wajah se' he uttered

'haan.. Tumhari wajah se.. Kal tumne jo kuch bhi kaha wo sab unlogo ne sun liya.. Aur shadi tod di.. Tumhari ek ek sabd ne meri beti ki zindagi ko taar taar kar diya.. Inn sab ke zimmedar tum ho.. Janaki Didi ne bilkul sahi keh rahi hai meri beti ki zindagi barbad ho gayi wo bhi sirf tumhari wajah se 'she cried bitterly..

Vineet kept his hand on her shoulder in order to console her but she jerk his hand and said something which shocked him to the core..
