Vermilion
Nothing rhymes with orange. Orange is such a lonely colour. Nothing goes with it or sounds right. It’s okay orange, I love you. You’re so bright and happy. Full of warmth and light. So why are you so lonely, dear colour? So few love you but do the ones who do not mean anything? Do I not mean anything, dear colour? You come in so many shades but none I don’t like. So tell me, orange, what can you not do? You express so many emotions I dare not speak. So, dear orange, who are you to me? Who am I to you?
