The Overbearing Fuxing Chan (9)

Fuxing Chan was too tired to handle other matters and immediately fell asleep. He closed his eyes the moment he hit the bed. The next day, he woke up with a bad motion in his heart. He couldn't understand why, but it was as if something bad was about to happen that day. Fuxing Chan could only hope that the maid he had thrown out did not easily resent people and became a pseudo demon. That would be very bad.

Everything was normal , nothing too peculiar other than the fact that he barely saw the maid that morning. When he went to Marcus to confirm the truth, the Phase Bishop just shook his head with a disappointed expression and said, "Oh, Valerie? That maid did not know her place. I beg for forgiveness if she offended you. She is now transferred into another department more befitting of her character."

Fuxing Chan's overbearing disposition was immediately made known in the circle of servants. Although they had their own grievances towards the 'unruly' prince, they were still afraid to anger the him for various reasons, one being...His unruliness. Even if they knew something about Valerie's fate, they would never tell Fuxing Chan. The prince threw her out of his room by her hair yesterday and now he looked for her? Really a detestable prince.

Meanwhile, Valerie was sneaking into Liang Xingbai's room. When she saw Liang Xingbai come in, she immediately followed. Of course, she didn't approach Liang Xingbai directly, that would make her intentions known, which was something she naturally didn't want to happen. If people found out about what she was doing, she might lose everything she had ever worked for.

Liang Xingbai knew that Valerie was following him, though he didn't know why Valerie suddenly held resentment towards him. Compared to Joshua's killing intent, Valerie's was much stronger and thicker. Liang Xingbai couldn't help but feel slightly suffocated. Liang Xingbai didn't know what he had some to make Valerie this angry with him, he didn't remember doing anything! Valerie was one of the nice maids that pointed the way for him before (refer to Hypocritical Church 2).

As he turned around, a dagger was placed on his throat. He could feel the cold metal against his skin It seemed that Valerie hesitated for a bit because he was still young....Or...Did she suspect him like how Joshua did?

"Fancy seeing you here, Valerie," Liang Xingbai smiled, making Valerie's face as white as sheet. Valerie didn't expect that Liang Xingbai knew who she was. Of course, he wouldn't say that his 'semi-trusted sides or Joshua had given him the information.

The Priest and the maid looked at each other before Valerie started to laugh hysterically. Long Xingbai was taken aback at the sudden insanity. Previously, Valerie was clearly scared of him, confirmative, but she suddenly... gained some courage?

"Hahaha! I can't believe that I am afraid of a little wet in the ears boy like you!" Valerie grinned, "I have to be crazy, I am too blinded by you everyone is blinded by your 'innocence'. But indeed, only me and Phase Bishop Marcus are intelligent with a bit of brain in our heads! Your charm won't help you against me nor him!"

'Marcus...This man,' Liang Xingbai thought of the name grimly, but he was unable to do anything as Marcus was like an immovable mountain to the current him. Especially if he did something out of the norms to peel off his skin, it would have a reverse effect instead. Long Xingbai was a veteran. He knew when to march or not to march.

"Phase Bishop Marcus arranged me to please his highness the first prince, but he rejected me as he preferred you over me.!" Valerie said, completely losing her rationality, "I am previously the most beautiful person in this church, but now, even the prince acknowledged you...Phase Bishop Marcus is correct...You are despicable! You are not a normal child since your birth!"

"Congratulations," Liang Xingbai said in a monotone voice, "but you can't kill me, I am a light priest and I can protect myself with light energy."

At that very moment, Valerie chuckled darkly, "you are still a pampered Little boy from the main church I see...You never faced a real demon before..."

Cracking noises could be heard from Valerie's body. Her body increased almost twice in size. Her sclera turned red as he skin became ashen grey. Dark purple veins appeared on her skin like worms, indicating that her blood had turned purple.

"You're...A Demon!" Liang Xingbai was surprised, but not scared.

"If not for you, I wouldn't have become one!" Valerie's face was sinister and ugly, not having the same beauty it had before,"but if I eliminate you, there will be no witnesses...I can become the most beautiful again...hahaha! Haha haha!"

She didn't seem to realize that her looks was horrendous.

Valerie had completely lost her mind as she tried to attack Liang X8ngbai, Liang Xingbai dodged as quick as he could and protected himself with light energy. However, one time, Valerie was faster than him and managed to stab him. Liang Xingbai couldn't dodge and was thus killed. However, not before he screamed for help. Marcus smiled when he heard Long Xingbau's scream...Valerie had indeed targeted Liang Xingbai.

Fuxing Chan and Fuxing Longyue immediately abandoned whatever they were doing and ran over to where it came from. Joshua stayed back to help the Old Bishop slowly walk over. Bishop Nathan knew where it was from as Joshua told him but he couldn't believe what had happened.

He thought that the Father would keep him safe and would always protect him, seeing what happened in the ceremony two days ago, but it didn't seem so...Could it be a  momentary favour?

Arriving at the location, they were met with a hideous demon. The demon was wearing a ragged maid uniform with black most covering around some parts. Fuxing Chan only knew who the demon was when the demon turned her head his way and asked with a creepy voice. He could definitely feel shivers down his spine.

"Liang Xingbai is no more...I am now the most beautiful of all...Right?" In her grip was Liang Xingbai's lifeless body. Everyone sucked in their breaths... They had never expected that Valerie would become a demon,  but they agreed on one thing.

Valerie would most likely look at the perpetrator.  They just couldn't beliebe that Fuxing Chan could be so heartless and caused all this.
