Chapter 8 - going out

Kenzie's POV
It's Saturday and Ms. Cole wanted us to go out like before. She told us to take the stones with us but I don't get why. We were at a restaurant and nobody has talked to the other. We took the menu when I felt a new presence. So suddenly. Normally I would feel them low and stronger if they come more near us.
"I'm going to check on something!", I said and stood up and walked out of the restaurant. I felt someone following me but I didn't care.
"Something bad is gonna happen, not?", someone said behind me. I walked slower to make her catch up. I looked at Annie. "How do you know?", I asked. "Just some weird feelings in my stomach", she answered. I can understand her. I had some weird feelings lately too.
We arrived at the place I felt the presence, but nobody was there. We saw nothing. But I still can feel him, her or it, whatever it is. And Annie does too. We walked closer so our arms touched. And then someone suddenly came to us and punched Annie in the face and kicked me in the stomach.
Hayley's POV
Kenzie and Annie were out a long time. I'm starting to worry about them. What if they planned something. Something dangerous.
"I'm going to check on them", I said. Then I felt pain on my cheek, like someone slapped me in the face. I went back to the others. They were looking at me. I wad looking down because I didn't want them to see my face full of pain. I git my bag and went towards the door. Lauren came after me.
"Can you feel something that you can't understand?", she asked. I nodded. She had a worried look in her face. She gave Jayden a signal that we are going. "Hey guys we are leaving", she said. "And for what did we came?", Connor asked. "If you don't want to come with us then don't! What we are going to do is more important than this stupid dinner where we don't even want to eat!", she said. "Of course shopping is more important!", Connor said in a girly voice. Jayden just stood up and went to us. "Let's just go!", she said. "Hayley", Lauren said. "Go the way you think we should go. Let your feelings lead you" I nodded and just went forward.
Kenzie's POV
It was a man. He turned into a monster! He was giant and everyone ran away. He took us by our neck and he held us so tight that we didn't get to breath. I slapped us and punched us. Mostly kicking us in the stomach. Blood was on the floor. And guess from who. From Annie and me. We really needed help. I used fire and tried to blend him with the light. Annie tried to get some animals but he shoved them away like if they were leaves. And he kicked us in the stomach again and blood came from our mouth. A lot. And at the same time I saw the others coming. Even the guys. Annie and I are helpless. No matter what they are going to do. Only her and me can end this. I looked at her and she looked at me. We nodded at each other and faced the monster. He was going to punch us again when I went through him. He was shocked and started to punch Annie. But when he was about to touch her she used her nature powers. Root came from her hands and she stopped his fist with that. He wanted to squeeze Annie's whole body but she turned into a mouse. When she escaped his hand she turned into a human again. She made a whole in the ground and gave Jayden and Lauren a sign. Jayden filled the whole with water and Lauren made sure thag she falls in the water and not on the ground with the wind. Hayley made trees and looked at the boys. They did nothing. She rolled her eyes and tried to shake the tree. I then flew outside from that monster and punched him everywhere. I shooted with fire balls at him. Jayden shooted with ice balls. Lauren walked to him and he wanted to stomp on her, but thanks to her speed she escaped. Hayley has shaken the tree now. Thanks to Hayden and Carson. Roots came out of her hands and she carried Annie like this to the tree. Since she shook the tree there are no leaves on the tree. Everything on the ground. She layed her on the leaves and started to heal her. Annie is now okay. Annie and Hayley made wolf noises and seconds later hundreds of wolfs came and fought the monster. The monster wanted to escape so he grabbed the stones and tried to go away. Three stones. Mine, Lauren's and Jayden's. He escaped. I watched him escaping. Annie and Hayley made a mountain and trees. The monster stopped and Annie and Hayley brought him to us with root again. They tied him up with root. Niw I understand what her plan is.
"Jayden! Lauren! Bring the stones to us!", they first looked confused but in the next moment they had the stones. Hayley quickly made a hole and Jayden and Lauren put it in there. She closed the hole and helped Annie to tie up the monster. Thex made a fist and the monster broke into a million pieces. Then I felt root around me and suddenly was next to Annie. She put her hand on my stomach where I had a wound and healed it. I looked at her and smiled. Hayley was tired of all this and fell asleep on me. Jayden and Lauren got the stones and gave it to us waking Hayley. We grabbed our stones and when we touched them, they started to glow. We ran to the car without the guys following us. I didn't want to go to them. Especially Johnny. I slowly start to hate him.
