"How about we talk over dinner, in honour of your victory?~" They walked outside, hot air enveloping them in a rush. A big change from the air conditioned hub.

"Really? That sounds fun!" The (I/C) inkling grinned as a small squiddo timidly trotted to her. "Hello, there!" (Y/N) kneeled down to the infants level, before a flower was produced from behind the squiddo's back.

Gasping, (Y/N) smiled softly when the squiddo gently dropped the white daisy into her lap.

"For you, Miss (Y/N)," The infant mumbled, a sweet smile gracing their face. Aloha grinned as he looked down on the scene, snapping a quick picture.

"Thank you! That's so sweet! It's beautiful." (Y/N) smiled.

"THERE YOU ARE!" A green inkling panted as they skidded to a stop. The squiddo blushed a neon green, and ran to the inkling. "I was looking all over for you! If I'd lost you, Ma would have my head!"

"...Gloves?" Aloha asked, surprised.

Gloves froze, before slowly looking over to (Y/N) and Aloha. His face was a lovely shade of neon green.

"...Hi (Y/N), Aloha..." He picked his sibling up and noticed the flower (Y/N) was holding. (Y/N) stood up. "Uhm... Meet my little sister, BUT DON'T TELL ANYONE!"

"She's so sweet! I love her already!" (Y/N) cooed, noticing Gloves' embarrassment and chuckling. "Don't be embarrassed, I bet you're great big brother."

"I didn't know you had a little sister, Gloves🎵!" Aloha patted the squiddo's head and Gloves looked away, even more embarrassed than before (if that's possible).

"Well, it was nice seeing you two again but we have to go now... Bye!" And with that, Gloves and sister were gone.
'Why is Gloves so self conscious of his sister? If I had a sister like that I'd show her off to everyone!' (Y/N) thought as she linked arms with Aloha absentmindedly.

"I love squiddos. Someday, I want to have some- I don't know how many yet," (Y/N) breathed wistfully as she stared into the direction Gloves and his sister left in.

"Stick with me and you'll find out~🎵" Aloha whispered into her ear seductively. Squealing in fright, shivers rippled through her spine at the sudden proximity he was to her and his breath fanning on her neck.

"Don't scare me like that!" (Y/N) turned to him and playfully hit him on the chest, trying to ignore his last comment. "And, what time do you want to have dinner?"

Grinning misheviously at her reaction, Aloha told her "I'll pick you up at 7." before stealing a kiss and waving goodbye to a dumbfounded (Y/N).

(Y/N) couldn't stop thinking of Aloha's flirty comment about squiddos. No matter what she did to try shake it off, it stuck. And only when the doorbell rang at 7.03pm she pushed it to the back of her mind which was now occupied in admiring Aloha's appearance.

He wasn't dressed up or anything: he was still in his regular Crazy Arrows, Aloha shirt and Golf Visor and yet (Y/N) still found him slightly more handsome than when she'd seen him earlier that day.

Unlike Aloha, (Y/N) had changed her outfit from her regular clothes into a Half-Sleeve Sweater, Fake Contacts and had kept her regular shoes. She wanted to look respectable, and her ink-stained battle clothes didn't exactly meet that mark.

"Ready to go, sweet cheeks?" He linked his arm through hers. She smiled and nodded whilst locking the door to her apartment.

"You're late, by the way,"
