"Babe, have you seen my keys?"

"Check the counter, or under the couch; they might've grown legs," A female squid winked, hoisting a squiddo up to rest on hip as her husband paced around the house.

"FOUND EM'!" He hollered through the house. The baby burst into tears.

"Now, look what you've done! Don't be so.. Clumsy with your voice," Aloha popped his head around the door frame to see (Y/N) consoling a blubbering squiddo newborn, and lightly chuckled at her joke.

"Well Babe, I guess you've started to rub off on me~" Kissing her cheek, he turned his attention to the infant and began to pull funny faces. "Sammy, you'll wear your mother out! But, make sure she doesn't hurt herself while I'm gone okay?" Aloha turned his attention back to (Y/N) before ducking out of the room. "See ya Sugar!~"

Life was pretty good. Aloha and (Y/N) had finally decided to 'tie the knot' after 4 years of dating. The wedding was at the beach (duh), and was massive in attendance! The couple had spent hours upon hours sorting through Aloha's extensive party-contact list to only invite close friends. It seemed like they had a lot more close friends than they had invited, judging by how many had been at the ceremony.
Shortly after their loving honeymoon, (Y/N) and Aloha were already expecting and were in the process of expanding their family.

Then, there was an accident.

Skull and Snorkel had shown their true colours after (Y/N) was caught in a fatal car accident. No, not fatal to (Y/N) herself but worse to the unborn child she was carrying.
Skull was there for the couple in that time, as well as Snorkel. Aloha had been in the middle of a turf war with Rider when it happened, and he didn't know until he checked his phone right after the match, and was ambushed by Snorkel.

11 missed calls - Skullo💀

7 missed calls - SnorkBro

Skull was the first to pick up the phone and was with (Y/N) in hospital, whilst Snorkel was called by Skull to tell Aloha.
Suffice to say, it was a dark time for their family.

Despite this, a year later Sammy was born without a hitch and was born kicking,

"Looks like we've got ourselves a fighter, Babe~"

And not long after, that twins.

Followed by another boy.

Before the fifth and final child was born, who ended up being the only girl amongst four boys.

All the boys of the family (excluding Aloha) had (I/C) ink, taking after their mother. April, their lone daughter, had Pink ink, resembling her father.

~~~
When Sammy was born, the lawyer required to make the birth certificate "Wasn't clear enough!" (in (Y/N)'s words)
"Name." The elderly squid droned, fingers hovering over the keyboard.
"Samuel. Samuel Walter Pink." Aloha spoke clearly, a slight smile gracing his face.
"Sex."
...
"Uhm, well how else were we supposed to make the baby?" (Y/N) questioned, puzzled. Aloha choked.
"Babe, I think they mean gender..." He whispered in her ear, trying to stifle his laughter.
"...!" She was absolutely mortified with her mistake. Face contorting into one of horror, she slapped her forehead and a bright (I/C) blush spread across from the tips of her pointy earn to the very sole of her feet.
"Male, sorry," Aloha could barely say through his peals of laughter, shaking through his body so much he had to grab the table to stop himself falling over.
~~~

"Ugh, Mum! You're so embarrassing!" Ethan, the fourth squiddo, groaned. "Why can't Dad drop me off?"

"We both know that if your Father dropped you off, he would probably want to join the party with you, which I would think to be more embarrassing. Besides, I'm only dropping you at the door."

"Mmm k," Ethan mumbled and (Y/N) pulled up to a house much like Aloha's old place, lit with flashing rave lights. A new song by one of the "hip fresh pop groups" ("Mum, please don't ever say that again") blasted from inside.

"Just remember, no alcohol, no drugs, and be home by ten WITHOUT company! But most importantly, have fun!" Her son jumped from the car as fast as he could before scampering inside, probably to get away from (Y/N).

~~~
Once their children had flown the nest, Aloha and (Y/N) downsized from their family-sized home into a cozy beach house a stone's throw from the shore. Often they would have company; old or young, wanting to have a good time or reminisce about past good times. Because of all of the guests, (Y/N) had picked up the skill of baking, which she would serve her guests alongside a cup of honeyed tea.
Though their spectacularly successful turf war days had come to an end, often (Y/N) and Aloha would get together with some old friends (sometimes (Y/N)'s old team, occasionally Aloha's old team, but most of the time with various members of the S4) and sneakily play turf war, despite their children disapproving (hence, battling sneakily). Eventually, soon after Aloha and (Y/N) started dating, (I/C) team battled Purple team. (Y/N)'s team lost, but they still all had fun and (I/C) team had completed the loop of battling the S4, even though they had partial success.
~~~

"Y'know, hun, remember that time before we were dating when you were talking about how many squiddo's you wanted?" Aloha said out of the blue one day, when they were sitting on rocking chairs on their porch, overlooking the ocean.

"Hmm? I think I do remember- I remember being so embarrassed when you dropped a particular comment. By that smirk on your face I think you remember the one!" (Y/N)'s liver-spotted hand reached out and grabbed a cup of iced tea.

"Heh... You were so cute sweets~" His once vibrant eyes locked with hers, but however jaded they were they still held their unmistakable gleam that made (Y/N) weak at the knees. "Who would'a thought we'dve had five troublemakers! At the time I was thinking two or three... Tough but worth it.🎵"

"Well, it wasn't as hard on your stomach as it was on mine, dear," (Y/N) chuckled into her tea.

Yes, life was good to them.

And to think that none of this would've happened if (Y/N) hasn't been so clumsy.
