Lady X Male Demon Reader

"These fucking ugly bad smelling shits just keep coming and coming don't they." Lady was doing what she usually does which is hunting down demons slaughtering them mercilessly. After she fulfilled her mission of killing her father Arkham declaring 'Mary' is dead she chose to stay with Dante and help him in his mission of obliterating all of the demons both land and flying and right now she's caught between a rock and a hard place. She thought that she can handle it considering at the moment there was only three demons and she handled at most 7 by herself with little to no injury but now everytime she took down one, there was three or four to take their place. It's like they were multiplying every time one died and she was becoming tired running on adrenaline and the will to live alone. She would never admit it, her pride didn't allow it, but she wanted someone, anybody to come and help her this fucking moment before she either fell off this roof 25 stories or get gutted neither sounding pleasant. "Where the fuck is someone when you need them."

"Don't get your panties twisted in a knot." Lady turned sharply to the voice but saw no one, she turned around when she saw a blur and just as fast as she can blink the seemingly surplus of demons were falling dead like flies one and two at a time. Whoever the hell this person is knew what they were doing and was handling themselves quite well. Before Lady can set up her rocket launcher one last time to get rid of the rest of the demons they were taken out by her so called 'savior'. She turned around to see who it was and to her surprise it was a male, a rather good looking male. He had blonde hair streaked with black and he was wearing a spiked black jacket with a black tshirt, black jeans with chains and black combat boots. It was a typical look but it suited him somehow "You like what you see toots." Lady scoffed jutting her hip out

"And just who the hell you think you are? I had it all under control." He simply smirked shaking his head 

"Sure you did, you didn't notice the four behind you about to chew on your back, you were too focused at the one in front of you. Your peripherals should be better Lady or should I say 'Mary'" He snickered dodging when she aimed her rocket launcher disappearing over the building. Lady rushed to look over but saw no one. Huffing she decided to head over to Dante's shop and see if he knew anything about this guy. It was a few minutes before she reached the shop and when he opened the doors her jaw almost dropped open. It was the same infuriating male sitting right there being all chummy chummy with Trish

"Who invited you here?" Both of them turned to Lady and the unidentified male smirked enjoying seeing her flustered as Trish looked between the both of you 

"I see you two met." Lady looked at her before looking at the unidentifiable

"More like I saved her ass." He simply continued drinking as Lady stomped up to him

"I'll have you know I'm fully capable of handling my own and I don't need the help of a smug egotistical human." Lady was in his face but backed up when his eyes flashed a dangerous neon green

"I'll have to disagree with you on that one." He simply smirked exposing his sharp canines before finishing his drink and heading towards the doors disappearing outside and Lady turned towards Trish who was already looking at her expectantly.

"He's a demon isn't he?" Trish simply nodded his head but she huffed "He's not dying for the simple fact he knows you so you obviously trust him." Trish smirked

"And for saving you." Lady looked at her ferociously as he laughed at her waving his hand "I'm going to see you later Lady...by the way that's not the last time you'll see him." Before Lady can retort or ask what's his name Trish disappeared to the back 

"Great now I have to figure out this guy's name, my life is just getting better and better." Lady begrudgingly left the place intent on going home not knowing she was being watched the whole time until the same guy jumped down in front of her startling her

"If you want to know my name so bad why not just ask?" Lady scowled at him walking past him but he grabbed her wrist gently but firmly. She tried pulling her arm out of his grasp but he didn't budge a centimeter. She tried a few time before giving in and looking at him

"Fine what the hell is your name?" He waggled his finger and had a mischievous look in his eyes

"Ask nicely." Lady laughed not believing the audacity of this guy demon or not 

"In your dreams, what's your name?" He stared at her his eyes boring into hers which made her highly uncomfortable and she averted her eyes avoiding eye contact.

"It's Y/N." Finally Y/N let go of her wrist. She looked down to rub it and when she looked back up he was gone. 

"Damn it all, where did Y/N go this time?" She didn't give it too much thought since she was mostly focused on washing her clothes and taking a long warm and soothing bath to ease the aches and pains in her bones and muscles. Little did she know, that wasn't the last time she will see Y/N

(Time skip a few months)

Lady has gotten used to the sight of seeing Y/N all over the place and always accompanying her on her demon hunts and you found it strange since he was a demon but figured that he was similar to Trish and he was a good one. You never entertained that specific thought for too long since you were mainly focused on his physique, fighting skills and personality. Y/N was very sarcastic, with a dark humor but chivalry wasn't dead with him and would always help her when needed and he would go out to eat or coffee with her whenever she wasn't hunting demons. She also found it annoying but flattering whenever he came with her on her hunts and had her back. Overall Lady came to enjoy his company and like him more than she intended but the heart does what it wants.

"You're going to have an aneurysm." Lady jumped out her musings looking next to her see Y/N smirking at her, he never smiled but smirked.

"Only when I look at you." He laughed with the same playful smirk that always adorned his face.

"That can come from two things." Lady shook her head choosing not to respond to that opting to enjoy the peace and look at the sunset "It's beautiful isn't it?"

"Yes it is." Lady looked over to Y/N to see that he was looking at her instead which made her blush so she coughed to hide it. He took the opportunity to move her face towards him as he got closer to her that she can feel his hot breath on her lips "You're the most beautiful person I ever met." He gently kissed her and in her shock she didn't kiss back, but just as she was about to he pulled back and this time had a smile. "I love you." With those final words he moved her head but when she looked back he was gone. Just like that 

"Y/N you dumbass...you didn't let me kiss you back." Lady rubbed her lips smiling to herself not knowing that Y/N heard her and his heart was beating fast and hard as a genuine smile graced his features.
