#Chapter Twenty Eight#

"And if you can't deal with that then fine! I'll leave and you'll never have to see my face again" I yell, clenching Mabel's hand. I look at my parents' dumbfounded faces and wait for their answers. "I..." my Father starts, "we... need some time to think" my Mother finishes for him, I nod and walk out of my mansion, pulling Mabel along with me. "That was amazing Pacifica!" she compliments, her happiness radiating off of her, I smile in response and continue walking towards the Pine twins new restaurant which is opening today! "We better hurry, Dipper not going to be happy if we're late," I say, starting to run towards the ex-mystery shack, still keeping my grip on her hand.

We make it just in time, to see people from all over the town line up, being as stealthy as possible we sneak through the back only to be faced with Dipper. "I don't have enough time to scold you now, so I'll do it later now hurry and put your uniforms on" he orders, I nod and rush to Mabel's bedroom.

The customers rush in, filling every seat. Oh no... so much cooking! I start cooking meals as fast as possible the second the first order comes in. Suddenly Mabels pops her head through the door, "someone asked to see you and Brett at their table" she says, "I'll take over cooking for you and don't worry I've improved since the mystery shack days" she states reading my mind somehow. "ok", I head out to the main area and search around for Brett, once I see him leaning on a table with a large smile on his face I strut over. My face fills with guilt and happiness when I see Guy here, "Omg! Guy, I'm so sorry about leaving you there" I immediately apologize, not wanting any bad blood, "it's fine" he smiles, "besides because of the whole incident I got to meet this hot man", I look up to Brett to see him... blushing? "And I believe he has something to say", Brett nods and looks me in the eyes sending a fearful shiver down my spine. "I'm sorry for messing with you and Pacifica's relationship and because of it I've decided to stop messing around with girls", a small smile appears on my face but soon turns into confusion when Guy says "Yep! Instead, he messing with guys now, and as in guys I mean Guy", I raise my eyebrows. "We started dating yesterday" Brett states, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly still blushing.

"Wait! What about the other guy?", "He's long gone and I've decided to move here too. It's a nice little town so why not?", "that's great" I exclaim jumping in glee. "Well I'll leave you two to go back to working," he says, quickly kissing Brett unexpectedly making him go even redder. I giggle at his expression and turn around walking back to the kitchen, but not before catching Candy in the corner of my eye, sweeping glass with a blank and cold expression. I decide to ignore it and go back to cooking...
