20k Side Story (BillDip)

So today I was reading all your comments and I saw a few talking about BillDip (yes, I ship them) and I also noticed the story reached 20k reads, so I decided to write a quick BillDip story that will be set in the same universe as this book. Let's begin!

^Dipper's Perspective^

I turned the sign that now read closed from the outside and let out a large sigh, the day was finally over. Mine and Mabel's restaurant very quickly became one of the most popular places to eat in town after we first opened it, meaning lots more work but we loved it. Suddenly I'm met with two hands grabbing my shoulders and turning me around, "Dipper, I need your help" the taller male states, determination filling his eyes. "Hello to you too Brett," I say, raising my eyebrows, "I invited Guy over to my place for the first time and said I'd cook dinner, but I don't have a clue what to make". "Ask Pacifica, she's the cook remember" I sigh, rubbing the bridge of my nose, "but I think she secretly hates me" he pleads, "you did try hitting on her girlfriend multiple times". He stays silent, knowing there's no way to deny that, "fine, I'll give her a go" he exhales, finally removing his tight grip off of my already sore shoulders.

Walking up the stairs he gives me one last glance, begging me to come up with him and help. I shake my head and he finally leaves my sight, quickly stretching and yawning I head to my room. After doing my bedtime routine I jump into my bed, letting the covers devour me in warmth.

A consistent beeping noise wakes me up from my slumber, I angrily hit the stop button on my phone screen and get out of my heavenly bed. Smelling something delicious and hearing Mabel's loud chatter from the kitchen I make my way there, to see Pacifica at the stove making pancakes and Mabel next to her leaning on the counter talking away to her heart's content. An even larger smile forms on her face when she sees me causing her to exclaim "Dipper!", she rushes over giving me a tight hug, I happily hug back. Pacifica only gives me a shortwave, concentrating on the dish she's making. Pacifica has been staying with us for quite a while now, not yet having heard from her parents, she repays us by basically cooking all our meals.

"So Dipper..." my twin begins, a sly smile playing at her lips, "there was this man asking about you yesterday, may I add a very handsome man". "Mmm," I reply, not paying much attention. I quickly pour myself some water and take a seat at our very small dining table, "he said his name was Bill", suddenly the water in my mouth goes everywhere, making me go into a coughing fit. "What!?!?" I say. "He's human Dip, there's no way he can be the Bill we know,  I mean he did kind of remind me of that irritating triangle in some ways, but that's not the point. I said he could come in tonight and you'd be happy to talk with him" she states, "Mabel..." I sigh, getting ready to lecture her about how it's my love life, not hers, but before I can start Pacifica drops a plate stacked with pancakes in front of me. "Dipper, just give him a go. Even I'm getting sick of seeing how jealous you get when Mabel and I or Brett and Guy act all lovey-dovey" she advises, looking at me sternly. I let out a breath and agree.

The minute the man that was mentioned earlier walks in, I know it's him right away. The charming smile on his face, the black suit with the bright yellow tie and even his yellow and black hairstyle. He notices me straight away and sends me a kind of surprised look, without warning Mabel pushes me in the direction of the table he just took a seat at, I steadily walk over. "Hello, you're Bill right?" I ask, he grins happily, revealing how bright his odd yellow eyes are. "Yep and you're Dipper I'm assuming, a pleasure to meet you" he replies, putting his hand in front of me, I shake it politely and take a seat in front of him.

"So why did you want to meet me?" I question, pulling him out of a weird daze he seemed to be in. "To see what you looked liked all grown up and my, my, you have exceeded my expectations," he says, admiration in his tone. He knew me when I was younger? I squint at him trying to remember someone as handsome as him, but I end up going blank. "Don't tell me you don't remember me Dipper" he pouts, a looking a little bit hurt. "You don't happen to have anything to do with a yellow triangle, do you?", "actually in my past life I was a yellow triangle, that happened to take over a whole town and then was defeated by two brunette twins". I feel my jaw drop and my eyes widen, "B-bill Cipher?!?!" I almost scream, attracting some stares from around me. "How?" I whisper, his smile turns a bit smaller as he starts telling me how he ended up like this.

Apparently, he woke up in a hospital bed, in the body of a 14-year-old boy after getting turned to stone, he soon found out that he had been reincarnated or something along the lines of that and now he had no abilities and has been living as a normal human. 

"Then some months ago I was looking for a place to move, where I could relax and get work done and I was very shocked to see Gravity Falls, mainly surprised how it is finally on the maps" he laughs, probably looking very flabbergasted I laughed with him. "And that's how I'm here today" he smiles, if I ever saw Bill again I expected I'd be very mad but with that face and that story I couldn't help but grin back. Suddenly he gently places his hand on mine, causing my cheeks to go a little pink, "and to start over" he states softly, a genuine look in his eye. I nod.

After that, we swap numbers and set a date to hang out. Soon months past and Bill and I have been hanging out almost every weekend, not only that but Mabel proposed to Pacifica and she said yes, obviously. Even more, time passed and now I'm getting ready for their wedding, I button up my blazer and attempt at tying my tie but I fail horribly. "Dipper~" a voice sings, from outside the door, "come in" I state, Bill flings the door open revealing him and his fancy suit. "I see you're finally trying something new and I must say it looks very sexy" he compliments, gesturing to where a tie is supposed to be. "Now all you've got to do is unbutton some buttons and-","- I can't do up my tie" I admit, he nods knowingly and walks over to where I've chucked it on the bed. Grabbing it he struts over and starts doing it for me, I blush a little at how close he stands to me, to the point where if we move the tiniest but our chests will be touching. He looks at my expression and giggles, "it feels like we're a married couple doesn't it?" he inquires, I nod looking deeply in his eyes and notice the odd change of feeling that flickers through them. "All done" he smiles, stepping back. I avert my gaze to my tie which is perfectly done, after thanking him we hop in his car and head to the venue for the wedding.

The ceremony goes wonderfully and both the brides look stunning in their dresses, even our Grunkles showed up to see. Everyone sits around their designated tables and cheerfully digs into the food cooked for us, suddenly the loud chatter filling the atmosphere is interrupted by Bill standing up and clearing his throat. I almost choke on my roast chicken out of surprise.

"Hello everybody," he says, all eyes in the room are now staring at him expectantly. "I would like to thank the now married couple for inviting me even though I've done some horrible things to them in the past and I would also like to make an announcement, or at least I hope" he states laughing slightly at the end. Almost everybody looks confused, except for Mabel and Pacifica who are smiling brightly at him.

He takes a deep breath in and begins, "I came to Gravity Falls for a place to be able to concentrate on my work better and to meet new friends, but I didn't expect to find something more... someone more", he glances at me and smiles softly before continuing. "Someone who accepted me, even for my past mistakes. Someone who inspired me to publish my book I've been working on for years. Someone who made me laugh, made me smile. Someone... who taught me love... but it took a long time for me to gain the courage to confess, so here I am confessing."

"Dipper Pines I have fallen completely in love with everything you do and say, so will you do me the honour of becoming my boyfriend?"

I'm rendered speechless at his unexpected words, even though I know people are staring it still feels like we're the only ones in the room as he stares at me longingly. I find myself standing up and walking towards him, the next thing I know my lips are on his and everyone is cheering, we part lips and I notice the wide smile playing on his lips, suddenly he hugs me tightly, his warmth fills me and I hug him back happily...
