I. Two strangers

You dreamt it again. The night you were almost killed. The horrible memories coming back every night in a form of a nightmare.

Every time it seems so real, every night you wake up soaked in cold sweat. You can't do this anymore.

The pain. The pain you felt every night was overwhelming.

The only survivor of that horrible night.

'The lucky one'. That is what some people called you. But you're not. You're not lucky at all. If anything, you wished you would have died that night as well. Other people agree with that too.

"SHE SHOULD HAVE DIED!!!"

"Go die."

" You should have died with everyone else."

The threats would come at you everyday. Even some of the teachers hated you.

A lot of people lost someone special that day. A family member, a friend, a loved one.

You did too... You lost yourself...

Everywhere you went, someone would always be staring at you. Some out of hatred, others out of pity.

Today wasn't any different. As you were walking to class, you felt everyone's eyes on you. Every glare, every look of hatred, you learned to deal with it.

'Just ignore them, they're not worth it. They only think of themselves. They don't know what you went through.'

You repeated the same thing to yourself every single day.

'No friends. No nothing. You're all alone.'

But you didn't know, that the person who is going to change your life forever, was staring at you as well.

"What are we going to do about her?"

"Nothing, there is nothing we can do."

"What do you mean nothing!? What if she remembers something!"

"Don't worry, she won't."

"And how the he'll would you know that, huh? You were the one who messed up!"

"Ok ok, guys, stop fighting. We need to figure out what to do about this situation..."

"Hyung...?"

"Yes...?"

"I think I have first period today with her.."

"Me too!"

"Really?! That's great. You two can try to befriend her so we could find out what she remembers."

"It won't be easy, but we can try."

"Great, that's settled then. Oh and you-... try to keep your thirst under control."

"I told you already, it wasn't my fault!"

"Then who else's!? You were the only one there that day!"
