The next day found you sitting alone on the schools roof, enjoying the beautiful view.
Yesterday, after entering your home you couldn't fall asleep for hours. The nights events coming back to you. The guy near the beach. Jungkook. You, crying.
Crying.
You felt strange after that. You never cry. Ever.... at least in front of other people. Specially the ones you have known for a day and talked to for less than five minutes.
You thought about that a lot. The way Jungkook Held you as you cried in his chest, messing up his shirt in doing so. The pleasant feeling you felt afterwards.
You don't know why you did that though. You never opened up to someone. It's not like you. But Jungkook's presence was so calming, it just urged you to let all your feelings out.
And that guy. The guy near the water. You weren't able to get him out of your mind. Every time you thought you forgot him, he always came back. He looked so mesmerising. So breathtakingly beautiful you couldn't believe a person like that exists.
But there was one thing. He looked really familiar, like you've seen him somewhere before multiple times. You just couldn't put your finger on it.
You didn't even notice that class has already started when you heard a voice start to speak from behind you.
"Shouldn't you be in class?"
You turned around and saw a somewhat familiar face standing near the exit, his left shoulder rested on the door.
"Um..."
He lifted himself up to stand straight and with slow, agonising steps walked towards you.
"Hey, I won't tell on you, don't worry. I was just curious, that's all." When he finally reached where you were sitting, he looked down, staring into your eyes with a hard gaze but a second later, they turned soft, and he gave you a small gummy smile.
"Name's Yoongi. I don't think we've officially met?"
"Yeah... my names-"
"Y/n. I know that."
"Ok... you're that guy that Namjoon talked to in the car, aren't you?"
"Yup. That's me." Yoongi came even closer, squatting down beside you.
"Now you didn't answer my question. Shouldn't you be in class?"
You thought for a second and a question popped in your head.
"I'll answer yours if you answer mine."
He stared at you for some time, before a grin made its way to his face.
"I like you. Sure, ask away."
"...why did you react like that when Namjoon said I was hurt."
The grin on his face slowly disappeared into thin air and his lips were set into a straight line. But no matter the cold expression he had on his face, you still felt safe.
"Don't know really, it just makes me sick at how some people... are assholes to others with out a reason. Now you?"
" I'm not really welcome anywhere in the school and if I went to eat in the cafeteria I would risk my clothes being ruined because someone purposely spilled their drink. Plus, the view here is beautiful..."
Yoongi stayed quiet for a while, the two of you sitting in complete silence.
"I prefer gloomy days more, when the sun isn't shining brightly in the sky and making me blind." He said out of nowhere. "But yeah... in a way, this is really beautiful too."
