Chapter 4

Its been 2 days and we've given up. I'll need to get a ride from Matty to get home now. I've been spending the past few days with him, Jay and Alice and surprisingly, I'm having more fun than I expected. Matthew actually got us backstage to meet some of the performers like Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, The Neighbourhood, oh my god.

I don't know how he got them though, maybe he knew someone? Anyways, I've noticed Matty acting a bit strange around me lately. Its either he's trying to flirt with me or he's just become more comfortable with me. When I go to sleep, Matthew sneaks in and lays next to me when Alice isn't there, thinking I'm asleep.

I hear him mutter things under his breath and feel his breath against my face. I never open my eyes just because I don't want him to know I was always awake. In the day, when I AM awake and we're just wondering around together, he would keep me close and watch out for any dicks trying to grope me. I've noticed he's very protective, but it is nice someones looking over me.

Its 11:25am and Alice, Jay, Matty and I are watching Avicii perform. The crowd is alive, jumping in unison and screaming at the top of their lungs. We're standing at the back watching, me not wanting to go in again but Alice is looking like she is about to burst.

"Guyyyyss is it alright if me and Jay go in? This literally looks so fucking fun I need to just." Alice takes a deep breath to calm herself

"Its fine seriously, ill stay here. go have fun!"

As soon as the words left my mouth, Alice grabbed Jays hand and frantically ran into the crowd screaming. Matthew and I laugh at how crazy she is.

"I wish i could have as much fun as her." I lean into matthew so he can hear.

"I'm having a blast with you alone." I can feel Matthews lips slightly touch the top of my ear. A feeling shocked through my body as he kept his lips resting there. I look up and smile and give Matthew a tight, side hug in return.

"Aww your blushing Tarneeeee"

Sadly thats a thing that happens to often. That is why I have long hair to cover my face whenever someone catches me out.

I get embarrassed and let go of Matty.

"Hey what's wrong? Did i do something?" I can hear the concern in mattys gone but i look away.

"I'm embarrassed ok." I mutter but matthew heard. I can see from the corner of my eye that matthew steps in front of me and holds the sides of my arms with his hands.

"Darlin, theres no need to be, its very cute." A faint smile appears on my face as matty complimented me. He bends down to see my reaction and grins.

"Thank you" I say while swaying side to side, still looking at the ground. I suddenly feel cold fingertips touch the bottom of my chin to lift my face up to meet eyes with his.

"No worries beautiful." I instantly got lost in Mattys eyes when the words left his mouth. No ones ever called me beautiful before, besides my mum. Matthew seems to be getting closer, but i dont react.

As it seems matthew is about to kiss me, i feel a rough force behind me pull me back and grip my waist hard. I'm quickly pushed against someone bigger than me and the smell of beer overtakes my smell.

"WOOOOOO YEEEE I GOTTA A SLUT TONIGHT!!!" My body is being forcefully moved from left to right and i scream and squirm as hard as I can.

The strong force is released when i turn around and see Matthew punching the living hell out of prick.

A large crowd is surrounding and as much as I would love to see the fuckwit dead, i need to get matty off him so he wont get hurt.

I rush behind Matthew and grab his shoulders, trying to pull him off.

"MATTHEW STOP, GET OFF HIM!" Matthew doesnt respond and keeps repeating the punches over and over again onto the guys face.

"YOU FUCKING CUNT, DONT EVER TOUCH MY GIRL AGAIN!" Matthew shouts as hes pounding the guy.

"MATTHEW STOP PLEASE, HES NOT WORTH IT!" I pull with all my force to get Matty off and surprisingly it works.

Matthew falls on his back while the man lays motionless on the ground. I quickly kneel to Matthews side to see if hes ok. His breathing is hard and his face is full of rage.

"Matt-"

Matthew cuts me off by eruptively standing up, grabbing my hand and rushing out of the crowd.
