Chapter 11

A/N: I'm really trying to not to drag the whole Lucaya thing out but I also want to be realistic with it. My goal is to build things up. Glad you are enjoying the fic. :) 

Maya POV

Once Maddie left Lucas told Braelynn that her bedroom was all ready for her and he wanted to take her to see it. I was so excited to see the look on Brae's face when she saw what all he did for her. Riley was telling me about it the other day because I guess Farkle showed her all the work Lucas had done on the room. She said Braelynn was absolutely going to love it. We walked down the hallway and Lucas led us to the room which just so happened to be across from Aleah's room which was nice for Brae. Once there he opened the door and we stepped inside. Braelynn gasped as she took in the site of the room. I watched as she took it all in and I did the same. Lucas had filled every single shelf with books and had even bought Braelynn a beautiful desk for the bedroom. 

"This is so awesome!" Braelynn said as she walked over and look at the books. 

"I'm jealous baby. I'd love a room like this." I chuckled. 

"Oh my gosh! MOM!" Braelynn said excitedly and I looked at her. 

"What?" I asked her as I walked over to her. 

"Lucas got me the Descendants books!" she said as she picked up the book set off the desk. 

"Oh boy! What do you say?" I said to her. 

She looked over at Lucas "Thank you so much! These are my favorite books." she said to Lucas.

"You're welcome." he replied. "I'm so glad you like the room." 

"I love it! How did you know these were my favorite books? Did you tell him Mom?" she asked him. 

"I didn't but I know who did." I said with a smile. 

Braelynn's face lit up.  "Aunt Riley!" she exclaimed. 

"Yep that's who it was." Lucas said. "Uncle Farkle told me she mentioned it to him that you loved those books after he showed what I had done with the room." 

"Yes, I love them. I love the movies too. Mal is my favorite." she  replied. 

"Good, because guess what?" Lucas said to her and Brae smiled. 

"What?" she asked excitedly. 

"Uncle Farkle was able to score the third movie. I was thinking we could go to the movie theater room and watch it if you'd like." Lucas said. 

My eyes widened when he said that and I watched as Braelynn's mouth turned O shape in shock. 

"Really?" she gasped. "Yes I would love to!"  

"Wow, you really outdid yourself." I chuckled as I looked over at Lucas. 

"I wanted her first day spent with me to be a good one."  Lucas replied with a smile. 

"This is the best day!" Braelynn chimed in. 

"I'm so glad Brae." Lucas said as he smiled at her.  "Would you like to go watch the movie now?" 

"Yes, please!" Braelynn said as she was practically jumping and down in excitement. 

"Alright we'll go." Lucas replied. 

Braelynn and I followed Lucas as he took us to the Movie Theater room. I still couldn't believe that Lucas's house was this big. It blew my mind to that he actually had a house with a movie theater in it. He really had gone out of his way to make Braelynn happy and that made me super happy too. Once again I was reminded that I had scored big in the baby daddy department.  I couldn't wait to lounge in the movie theater room. From what I remember it is beautiful with large couches that you can literally lounge on because the cushions go forward instead of how a normal couch is. Once in the room Lucas said he was going to go make us popcorn and get the movie started. He already had blankets and pillows out on the couch for us so Brae and I made ourselves comfortable.
