Chapter 19

A/N: I'm so glad you guys liked that update! Things are going to get really good! I hope you will like this chapter as well. Pictures of Braelynn, Riley, and Maya's Dresses will be at the end of the chapter. I will also include a picture of Lucas outfit too for the visual. Maya POV

Things have been going good. Braelynn is not 100% herself yet but she's pushing through and seems to be okay but I can tell she's still a little off. She is my daughter and is a lot like me so she's not doing too bad given everything that's happened. In fact shes's still being my cuddle bug so I know that she doesn't hate me which I'm thankful for. I think Lucas may have had a talk with her about everything as well. 

Tonight was Braelynn's Father/Daughter dance benefit for Gymnastics so we had a Mommy/Daughter/Aunt Riley day and went to the mall for manicure, pedicures, and getting our hair done. Brae is so excited for this dance and so happy that she has a Daddy to go with her. I let her put on a little bit of make up for the dance so she was super excited and told me she felt like a big kid. Riley and I signed up to be chaperones for the dance so while at the mall we bought dresses for ourselves. I bought a Navy Blue one and Riley bought a cute purple dress. Brae was so excited that our dresses matched. Her dress was Navy Blue with with some crystal like things that wrapped around her abdomen area. Her favorite part of the dress was how it ruffled out in some areas. Brae told me that she loved it because it made her look like a princess and truth be told she looked so beautiful and grown up in the dress. Riley's dress was a purple long sleeved one and she looked amazing in it. 

After getting Brarelynn around I started working on myself. The only thing I really had to do was get my dress on and do my make up. I loved my dress as well. It was tight fitting and looked perfect on me. Once the three of us were completely ready it wasn't long before Lucas showed up looking handsome as ever in black Tuxedo with a matching Navy Blue tie.

"You look beautiful Maya." he said with a smile as he walked in. 

"Thank you." I replied and smiled back at him. 

I stood there looking at him for a few seconds before turning my head so that he didn't notice me staring. It was time to get going so I hollered to Brae to let her know that it was time to go.

"Braelynn Jo your dad is here." I hollered to her to let her know we had to get going.

"Coming Mom!" she said as she made her way down the hallway. 

Braelynn made her way into the room holding her little purse that Aunt Riley got her today. I just couldn't get over how cute she looks in that dress. 

"You look beautiful, Princess." Lucas said as Braelynn walked over to him.

"Thanks, Daddy. I like that me, you and Mommy match." she replied with a smile. 

"Me too." he replied.

"Yeah, it's cool babe." I said to her.

"I brought my camera for family pics but we really do need to get going." Riley chimed in. 

"Yeah we do. We have everything so I think we can head out." I replied. 

The four of us made our way outside of the apartment complex and into the parking lot. I was shocked to see a Limousine out there waiting for us. 

"Whoa!! This is so cool." Braelynn said as she saw it. 

"How would you like to ride in it?" Lucas asked her and I watched as Brae's face lit up.
