He awakes to the sound of chatter, and the brightness of the spotlight that is shining down on him, he was tied down to a chair behind a table in what seems to look like an interrogation room, he remembered the dream that he had in Edmond's house, he tried to use his tail to untie his paws, but again... he can only wag it, a figure walked in, it doesn't look like Alcides, he didn't wear the black ritual robe that Jesse saw in his dream, instead, he wore a white lab coat, he felt slightly relieved he's not going to be sacrificed to some demonic god or something.

The figure sat down on a chair across his, and jokingly said "Welcome to the facility! I hope you enjoy your stay here, I'm Dr. Caravell Don, I will be overseeing the experiment on you today."

Jesse could only look at him with hatred, he growled at him, and asked "Where's Alcides!?"

He pointed to the wall to the right of Jesse with his thumb, "He'll be waiting for you there, or at least I think so... I have just a few questions for you before you step into there..." He flipped through a little note he kept in his pocket

"Do you know anything about your transformation?"

Jesse shook his head, "One day I had a weird dream, and I woke up in this form."

Don nodded, he continued "Do you know of 'Dr. Edmond Wright?' A former researcher that worked here and also had a genetic error?"

Jesse only looked at the figure, not saying a word, he feared they have installed some form of lie detection on him, and if he answered, they'd know, so he just sat there

"You don't have to answer that one, moving on then..." he flipped to the next page, he paused and said "Be very careful with this next one."

Jesse could see him getting nervous, and even nervously swallowed

Jesse is getting impatient "Come on... out with it!"

Don sighed and inhaled before asking him "Do you wish to stay that way?"

Jesse retorted back to his seat, what could this mean? But thinking about it, being half wolf does have its benefits, he paused for a long bit before asking "What if I say yes?"

Don scratched the back of his neck, "You could theoretically leave this facility in the form you are in now, but you'd be extensively experimented on before being released."

Jesse raised his eyebrow, "And if I say no?"

there is this uncomfortable silence for quite a bit, then the figure replied with "I don't know what will happen to you, I don't want to fill you up with false hopes. I've only been told about what would happen to you had you said 'yes.' My apologies for this inconvenience."

Jesse took some time to think before replying with his final answer, Jesse said "Yes." It's better for him to know that he'll eventually be released, and from Edmond's story, it doesn't look like they can do much to change him back to a normal human anyway.

Don smiled and then untied him from the chair and took him to the chamber next to the room they were in, he saw a pristine steel slab with shackles on it, and a spotlight situated at the end of an adjustable metal arm, a table with experiment equipment sat not too far from the slab, one of said equipment seemed familiar, it was a surgical knife, he doesn't look forward to whatever will happen to him soon, but he could only accept his fate, there is no one that could save him now, Don removed Jesse's unzipped black hoodie and white t-shirt, leaving just his dark blue jeans before placing Jesse against the slab and locked his paws, neck and legs to the four shackles in each corner of the slab and one at the top middle for his neck, Jesse could remember the good times he's had as a normal human, but the cold feeling of hopelessness drowned him from head to toe, his fur grew whiter than it already was, he is scared beyond belief, he doesn't know what will happen to him.
