"It will not let me sleep, I guess I'll sleep when I'm dead. Sometimes death seems better then the migraine in my head"
~
"Can I come over for dinner?" She said through the phone
Hold on, how did he get on the phone with her?
"W-what? When did I get on the phone with you? You never gave me your number and i never gave you mine?" Michael rambled
"What are you talking about? We've been on the phone for 2 hours" she snapped
"But how-"
"God Michael you really are as crazy as they say aren't you?"
His jaw clenched
"I'm not crazy" he hissed
"Sure, well what do you say anyways?"
"About what?"
"Dinner! Dumb ass"
"Oh um yeah maybe" Michael stuttered
"Great! Your place?" She chirped
"W-what? But I will have to ask my parents!"
"They'll be fine! Be there soon!" She giggled and the line went dead
Michael slowly put his phone on his bedside table and walked out of his room and down the stairs, peaking his head around the corner and into the living room
"Mum?"
His mum looked up at him from the TV
"Yes Michael? Everything ok?" She asked
"Yes mum" Michael groaned and stepped fully into the room
"Can I have a girl over for dinner? I know it's really short notice-"
"Oh sure honey! We're only having pasta but there will be plenty!" His mum said with a big smile
"O-ok? Great! Well she'll be here soon I think" he mumbled
"That's great! Where did you meet?"
"Therapy" he shrugged
His mum winced
"Is she-"
"Sane? Yes mum. I didn't actually ask what was wrong with her..." Michael mumbled, his voice trailing off
"I didn't ever see a girl In the waiting room though?"
"Because thats not where we met"
"Where did you meet then?" His mum chuckled nervously
"The roof"
"The roof?" She questioned
"Yeah, then my room....I-I don't remember how she got there though, and on the phone, but we never exchanged numbers....I-I don't know why but I can't remember"
"It's ok sweetie, probably a side effect of the tablets" his mum comforted
"Yeah..." Michael sighed
Just as his mother was about to say something there was a knock at the door and Michael rushed to get it. He almost fell over when he saw her, she was in a floor length black ball gown with full makeup and hair, she looked breathtaking.
"W-what?" He stammered
"Thank you Michael I'm flattered, now are you going to let me in or have me stand here all night?" She snapped
"Come in?" He mumbled and stepped aside as she strolled in with a sick grin on her face
Michael followed her into the living room
"Mum, this is....her" he said
His mum looked beyond confused and looked around, like she was looking for something
"Pardon?" She chuckled
"This is the girl" Michael repeated
A look of realisation and a moment of panic cross his mothers face
"O-oh! Nice to meet you dear" she said in a sickly calm voice
"You too" roof girl chuckled
"One moment" his mother said quickly and ran into the kitchen
Puzzled, Michael ignored roof girl and followed his mum, standing behind the wall and listening
"What should I do?"
"Yes, you heard me right!"
"He claims he met her on the roof"
"Yes I'm sure she's not really-"
"Ok"
"Thank you"
"Bye now"
Michael stepped out from behind the wall and looked at his panicking mother
"What the hell mum?" He asked
"Oh nothing sweetie! Just take your friend upstairs for a while yeah?" His mum said
Michael furrowed his eyebrows
"What friend mum?"
