Summer POV

I yawned and turned over. It was only 8pm but I was amazingly tired because the boys had taken me out after school for an end of year celebration. I was still fully dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, my black chux and a grey and white long lose singlet. The front was tucked into my jeans.

Ever since the Nixon issue, Chase & I had dated. The boys liked the nurses at the hospital and my dad and Kelly had broken up and he’d gotten a new girlfriend who was really nice and caring. All my injuries healed quicker than usual and I left the hospital a week after.

“Summer?” said Chase.

I sat upright in my bed and looked around the room.

“Where the hell are you?” I asked.

“Here!” said Chase.

I looked to the other side of my bed and Chase was spread out on my bed. I jumped and lost my breath.

“Please stop doing that to me,” I said as I lay back down on my pillows.

Chase moved closer to me and wrapped his arm around my waist.

“I wanna show you something,” he said.

“I’m not coming,” I said.

“Yes you are,” said Chase.

“Chase I’m tired. It’s the end of the year,” I said.

“I know,” said Chase.

I groaned and then Chase was standing on the side of my bed which the window is on. He picked me up in his arms.

“Chase…” I moaned.

“Stop complaining!” he said.

Then he walked to my window and I snuggled up to him because all I wanted to do, was sleep. He stopped on my porch.

“Chase, I just wanna sleep,” I said.

He patted my butt, “You will…but we are going someplace private.”

I groaned and relaxed my body. Chase jumped off my porch and landed with a light thud. Then he ran through the woods. I had closed my eyes while he was running, then he stopped and I opened my eyes. He placed me carefully on the ground and kept his hand around my waist. The front of my body was leaning against his.

“Can I look?” I asked.

“Yes you can,” he said.

I turned my head and we were on a cliff top. The moon shone brightly over the water. The cliff top held a picnic blanket with several blankets, a basket and some candles that were alight.

“It’s beautiful,” I whispered.

“Na, not really. You are the most beautiful thing in the world,” he said in my ear.

I giggled and kissed his neck. He chuckled, lifted me up into his arms again and walked me over to the picnic rug and put me on the ground. He sat down with me, grabbing a blanket and wrapped it around me. I snuggled into him and watched the water.

“Is this the real world?” I asked and I looked up at him.

“No…but this is…” he said and he yanked me onto his body and our lips touched. Then I pulled back.

“I love you,” I said.

“I love you too,” he said and he pulled the blanket over us.
