Summer POV

I heard people walking around me; my eyes opened and I saw a nurse with honey coloured hair checking my blood pressure. I saw another nurse talking to my brother and father.

“Dad? James?” I said.

The nurse, my brother and father ran over to me. My dad grabbed my hand as soon as he reached me and James walked around the other side of the bed and touched my hand.

“Oh my God, sweetheart! We thought that we lost you,” exclaimed my dad.

“What happened to me?” I asked then I added, “After the boys saved me.”

“They went down the elevator; 10 floors and then ran you out to the ambulance. They said that you had witnessed 3 murders but Wendy was only stabbed. They said that you were shaking and crying. They tried to make you talk but you just didn’t respond to them. When they brought you out; people thought that you had died. You were so pale and were covered in blood…” said James.

“How did you find me?” I asked looking at James.

“Nixon called Chase and the Police were with the guys when he was on the phone. The Police tracked down Nixon’s phone and the boys said that they wanted to go in first and the Police followed them in,” said James.

I nodded, “Are the boys here?”

My dad looked at the nurse, “Could we please have a minute?”

She nodded and took one last look at the machinery and left the room.

“They told us what they really are, sweetheart. They apologised to us and we forgave them immediately because they saved your life. They were here but they went to get something to drink,” said my dad.

I smiled at that thought, “What are my injures and how long has it been?”

“Your wrists and ankles are cut deeply and you are bruised all over your body and it’s been 3 days…” said James.

I squirmed in the bed, “I wanna see the boys.”

My dad touched my forehead, “I’ll go call them.”

“Thank you,” I said as he left the room.

He held the door open as a nurse came in with a tray of food then my dad left. She sat the food on a table that was over the end of my bed.

Then she turned to me, “A few birdies told me that you haven’t been eating for a while…” she said.

My head snapped to James and I glared at him.
