pushed down with force ,
on the cold hard ground ,
with their eyes on his defeat ,
the bystanders surround .
some who watch wish to help ,
but no one dares to try .
others crush him with their laughs ,
but he doesn't want to cry .
he doesn't ask for help ,
for he knows he won't be heard .
so he gathers up his courage ,
gets up and brushes off the dirt .
yes he was a little different ,
yes he wasn't the same as them all ,
but did he deserve to be bullied ?
did he deserve to be made feel small ?
