someone asked me how i was .
i said im fine ,
though i clearly wasn't ,
for i knew they wouldn't care .
someone else asked me how i was .
i said im not fine ,
for whenever i wasn't ,
by my side , they were always there .
yet again , someone else asked me how i was .
and i said i was fine ,
though i clearly wasn't ,
for i knew it was my pain they
couldnt bear .
