at your happiest times , i can't be the reason why you smile so bright .
on your worst days , i can't be with you to tell you that it's alright .
i can't be there to let you fall on me , when you burst out laughing .
i can't let your head rest on my shoulder , when you are crying .
i can't let you squeeze my hand ,
when you're frightened by something.
i can't be there to cheer you up ,
when you feel you're worth nothing .
all i can do is admire you ,
and keep waiting ,
waiting for the day you'll realize ,
realize that you deserve everything .
