Lil' Red came back the next day for a picnic. Besides her and her grandma who lives in an old shack, no one else is in the woods. Luckily for me, the lumberjack kid isn't here either. Lil' Red placed down a red and white checkered pattern blanket on the grass and we sat on top of it. Inside her weaved basket she revealed sandwiches with meat and some chocolate chip cookies.
I grabbed the sandwich with ham in it and sniffed it. "It's not poisoned!" Lil' Red boomed and I laughed.
"Just checking if the pig's ham is of high caliber," I replied and she tilted her head.
"High cal-l... cala-ber?" She stuttered, not knowing what the word I said.
"Caliber is the level of something," I explained and her eyes sparkled, for she learned a new word today.
"Cal-l... Caliber!" Lil' Red repeated over and over again, "That'll be my word of the day!"
I chuckled and took a bite out of the sandwich. I finished it in less than three bites thanks to my big sharp teeth. I licked my fingers and grabbed another sandwich. Red looked at me with appalled eyes as she witnessed me eating all of her sandwiches.
"You didn't even leave me one!" she yelled and hit me a little.
"I left the chocolate chip cookies," I replied prying her hands away from my chest, "want to feed them to me?"
"Hrm," she pouted and grabbed a cookie with her small pale hands. I opened my mouth making an 'AH' sound and she placed the cookie on my tongue and then removed her hand from my mouth. I closed my mouth and chewed on the cookie, eventually gulping it down. "How was it?"
"Anything you make is delicious Lil' Red," I smiled brightly and her cheeks brightly turned pink. Hohohoho, I can tease her with this. "but, I'm still hungry. Can I eat you too?"
In an instant I was on top of her, my hands on both of her sides and she could only see me. I let my wolf fangs show as I smiled and looked down at her face. Her delicate features were breathtaking and she smelled like apples. "If you say 'yes' then I'll gently eat you right up." I licked my lips.
Lil' Red's eyes formed tears and she shouted, "N-No! D-Don't!"
Ah, I made her cry. I licked the tears pouring down from her eyes and rolled off of her. My tail swayed slowly back and forth. "Aw, but I wanted to eat you right up," I said and sighed.
Lil' Red sat back up and looked at me. She was no longer teary eyed and she sniffled. "It was a joke?" She asked.
I gave a silly smile, trying to calm her down. "Of course," I answered, "I made a promise to you didn't I? I just wanted to tease you a little." She pouted and hit her head against my chest. She wrapped her arms around me and touched my tail once again. She seriously has an addiction to my ears and tail. "I'm really sorry. Plwease forgive mwe!"
"Nu," she mumbled and I whined. My whine must of hit a nerve since she changed her mind. "Fine. but don't do that again!"
"Alright, Alright," I whispered and I removed her red hood from her head. I lightly ran my hand through her silky straight golden hair and started to hum. "I guess it was a fun little picnic date."
Geez, you're still so young. Hurry up and grown up already you oblivious seven year old.
