A girl's scream echoed throughout the forest. The Woodcutter who was out in the woods collecting firewood and his dinner looked in the direction of the scream. Worried and curious, he put down his firewood and followed the forest path leading to the old grandma's house. The Woodcutter wondered if something had happened to the grandma or Little Red Riding Hood, everyone in town knew about how Little Red Riding Hood would always visit her grandma who lived deep in the woods.

Upon arriving at the grandma's house, he knocked on the door. The door creaked open at his knock, without permission, he entered. He walked towards the kitchen, then the bedroom looking for the grandma and Little Red Riding Hood. When he entered the bedroom, he saw a wolf in the grandma's clothing sleeping on the bed with a full stomach.

The Woodcutter quietly sneaked up to the wolf and cut open his stomach with an axe. There, revealed Little Red Riding Hood and her grandma, both shaking in fear. The Woodcutter helped them both out of the wolf's stomach before stuffing the stomach full of heavy stones. As if finally feeling the pain from the cut across his stomach, the Big Bad Wolf woke up with wide eyes. He noticed the Woodcutter and lunged towards him to only fall down onto the floor because of the stones.

"Damn you! I swear I shall take revenge!" Wolf screamed at them as he bled out. Dying, right before their eyes.

The Spinner of Tales disappeared from his tale and went back to writing. Everything was back to normal in his story, 'Little Red Riding Hood,' so, he vanished and would not come back unless he found another overwrite.

Little Red Riding Hood walked through the woods heading towards her grandma's house. She was no longer thirteen, but seven, since the book had reverted back before the beginning. Today, was the first time she would head into the woods alone to see her grandma.

As she walked down the path she saw a grey wolf laying down next to a tree. She froze. Her mother had always told her to avoid wolves since they were dangerous animals, but something told her to go closer to the wolf. Listening to the voice, she walked closer and closer, until she stepped on a stick, snapping it in two. The wolf opened his eyes and his head flew up. He looked at Little Red Riding Hood and she looked at him.

They both looked at each other in silence until Little Red Riding Hood said, "W-Want a cookie?"

She pulled out a cookie from her basket and the Wolf stood up. "Why thank you," the wolf responded and walked towards her.

Little Red Riding Hood fed the cookie to the wolf. Then another. Three. Four. Five. She kept feeding him cookies until he was satisfied. By now, she was on her knees and the wolf was sitting next to her. She was not afraid, no, for some reason she felt like she knew this wolf even though it was their first time meeting. Suddenly, the sounds of bone's cracking was heard from the wolf and he turned into a boy around fourteen with ears on his head. He was wearing torn brown pants and a white shirt.

"Who are you?" Little Red Riding Hood finally asked.

"I'm the Big Bad Wolf," he answered.

"Can I call you Wolf for short?" she blurted out and Wolf nodded.

"What about you?" Wolf asked and Little Red Riding Hood tilted her head in confusion. "What's your name?"

"Me? I'm Little Red Riding Hood." she replied.

"Hmm," Wolf mumbled. "Then, I'm going to call you Lil' Red."

Lil' Red pouted, "Call me Red! Not 'Lil' Red'!"

"Nope," Wolf replied smiling. "You're Lil' Red!"

"Hey!"

They both laughed, feeling somewhat nostalgic. They may have forgotten each other, but their hearts remember their precious memories together. They both sat there, chatting and laughing like they used to do. New precious memories with each other were going to be made.

Wolf and Lil' Red smiled at each other knowing that they were going to be very good friends.
