"Guess what guys!" Jimin exhaled as we approached Yoongi, Taehyung and Namjoon who were sitting at a table of the school cafeteria chewing on their food.

"Gyllene is going to join our dance club at school, isn't that great?" Jimin asked while looking for confirmation at the other three guys.

"Is this why you were late? You were talking about the school's dance club?" Yoongi states bluntly and stares at Jimin's hand, which was placed on my shoulder. He then quickly moves it away.

"Here, come take a seat" he tells me while pointing the empty seat next to him, smiling.

"That's great!" Utters Taehyung after swallowing a huge bite he had taken off a cheeseburger and showing off his box smile.

It was quite evident that Yoongi wasn't exactly pleased to see us two together, but why? He had no problem seeing me with Taehyung or Namjoon.

"Why didn't you come with me to the cafeteria?" He whispers when I had taken my seat next to him and across Jimin.

"You rushed out of the class and Jimin was kind of waiting for me outside" I answer before taking a bite from my food.

"Oh, he was?" Comments Yoongi and glares at Jimin with a questionable expression. The blond guy was too invested in his conversation with Namjoon about an exam they had, to notice.

"Hey guys" voice Jungkook and Addo as they arrive at the table putting their bags on the grey floor.

After pecking his boyfriend's cheek, Jungkook continued "Everyone is talking about your party on Friday, Namjoon. It's going to be huge!" He exaggerated by throwing his hands up in the air.

"How many people are invited?" I asked curiously before sipping cold water to freshen myself. The school's tall interior may be dispersed by light because of all the window walls, especially the ground floor, but that also makes it unbearably hot in summer.

"The whole school" Namjoon answers uninterested, as if it was the most casual thing to invite the whole ISS to your house party.

He is being sarcastic right? I thought to myself and looked at the rest guys on the table. But no one actually seemed fazed by his words.

" His house is huge." Yoongi says, as if he was reading my mind." His parents are both great lawyers, which is why they want him to follow their path, although he prefers music, just like me and Jungkook." He continues.

"Oh, so you're all into music?" I asked looking at him trying to stay calm despite the fact that his face was a few centimeters away from mine.

"It's just us three, but Taehyung is like our mascot. He always comes to cheer us up when we have rap battles." Jungkook answers smiling at his boyfriend before squeezing his hand on the table.

"Jimin on the other hand is always too busy to join us." Yoongi states mockingly wanting to provoke him. What is up with him today? He seems really aggressive towards Jimin. The latter avoids Yoongi's gaze and words by scrolling through his phone. That's definitely something I would do in this situation.

Ring.

The bell echoes in the cafeteria signaling the end of the lunch break. It was really the first time since middle school, when I didn't spend my lunch break at the library with only one friend. It felt so odd, having so many people around that seemed interested in me. And guys? I've never had guy friends, which was definitely a confidence boost. The only thing that I actually disliked , were other students' gazes when I'm with Yoongi and the rest of the guys. Especially the girls'. I mean I get it, they're somehow popular at school, but they're pretty approachable. Why don't they talk to them instead of giving me death glares, who's only been at the school for two days? This has lead to me, having no girl friends here. Phenomenal.

As I get up and grab my bag to head to class alongside Yoongi, some girls  call out his name and he directly heads for the nearby table to talk to them.

This, again.

I sighed to myself and started climbing up the stairs to my class, alone, once more. It was okay though. I wouldn't want to be by Taehyung or Namjoon's side right now, where there were students talking to them and laughing with them. That's too much socializing for me. A few steps in front of me, I spot Jimin, alone on his phone again, when I receive a notification on my phone. Pulling it out of my bag I read on Instagram:

Come tomorrow at the auditorium, after school to sign up for the club.

It was from Jimin. Looking up at him, I see his head turn on the side as he smiles at me and heads for his class.

"Here you are." Exhales Yoongi reaching up to me on the stairs. The moment I tried to answer a guy approaches him and asks him about Namjoon's party. Again. He introduces him to me hastily, and the proceeds to talk to him.

Once we reach the second floor, me being silent next to them, trying not to look awkward, the guy greets us and enters his classroom.

"Sorry about that. I have good news, though. A lot of people want to meet you on Friday. It seems like everyone's interested in the European girl" he winks at me.

Oh, so he was talking to these girls about me? I think to myself smiling, slightly making me feel less alone and more like the person I aspire to be. Yet again, do I really want to hang out with all these people? This is who I want to be though. I should give the party a chance.

"It's just a party, mum!" I repeat for what is feels to be the millionth time, bending over the kitchen counter and looking at her with disbelief.

"I don't care. School's just started. You should be concentrated on making it to the university you want, not boys, or parties." She replies taking the food out of the oven and placing it in front of me.

"But Addo's going!"

"Addo is not the one sitting his SAT exams." She shouts at me, hands both on the counter. After a short break to compose herself, she adds "You are not going. And it's final."

I sit up and head upstairs to my room with a defeated attitude.

The one time I actually want to go to a party, my own parents won't let me. I never fight with them , cause I'm not the kind of girl to disobey them, when they have decided on something.

But this time, I don't care. I'm definitely going.
