Do you still remember the taste of my lips
After a cigarette apocalypse
I can help but wonder
the way you drove away
Remembering to forget me
If you keep your eyes closed
I look exactly the same as before
After a while you have replaced
Me for someone you were looking for
Your heart bouncing in your chest
At the same beat to my breath
Could you imagine me with someone else
Who's not yourself anymore
I can imagine you trembling
If i get that ending
That you were so afraid of
I can remember the fear in your eyes
When i told you i didn't love you anymore
I sure remember the tears falling more
On my way home than from your sight
I sure know you have replaced me
With someone new
Who feels just like me
Well i guess you just have to keep
Your eyes closed
To see me keep
smilling- Close your eyes baby
