As Jade went to get something to drink I peeped her talking to Efani.

"Aww they cute they cute" I said laughing .

"If they really do cuff, goodluck to him" Breenie said rolling her eyes.

"Come on Bree don't act like that, y'all need to learn to get along. It's my day, y'all fighting is gonna ruin it. Just talk to her"

"Fine whatever." she said sucking her teeth "but she started all this bull shit".

I saw Erin walking towards the table.

"Man where the hell you been?!" I said

"I woke up late" she said sitting down.

Jade came and sat down at the table with her drink.

"Man just tell her you were at Mannys house, ain't nun to hide." Breenie said .

"MANNYS HOUSE !? doing what !?" I said , my heart was pounding.

"That was my same reaction" Jade said laughing.

"We ain't do nothing, trust me he wanted to but... we didn't." she said

I let out a deep breath.

"Wait how y'all knew about it before me" I asked confused.

"She told me this morning" Breenie said.

"Yea and I just told Jade when I came in," Erin said looking at Jade.

Jade looked disappointed.

"Jade baby" I said looking at her.

"What?" she said salty

She was supposed to say my name back followed by baby , it was a squad 4 thing.

"Someones got a -" Breenie said but Alex walked up to the table.

"Hey Kenzie, hey guys" he said in his soft voice.

We all replied "hey"

"Happy glo day Kenzie" he said smiling at me.

"Thank you" I got up to give him a hug.

"Where's my present" I asked after releasing from the hug.

"Oh yea, you'll get that later in the day" he laughed .

"Yeah sure" I said smiling.

"No seriously, I got you. later tho" he said licking his lips.

"Ok, cool" I said smiling again.

"Well I'll let you get back to your friends," he said about to walk away.

"Ok,.. text me later." I said smiling

He nodded and headed back to his table.

I sat back down with squad.

"He likes you," Erin said.

"I don't think so" I said

"You buggin , he does like you" Jade said

"Yeah like Efani likes you." I said laughing.

Jade rolled her eyes. "I guess."

Breenie stood up.

" I'm going to the bathroom"

"K" Erin and I said.

Jade didn't say anything.

I waited until Breenie was totally out of sight.

"Wassup with you Jade?" I asked

"Why you acting like this towards her"

"Cause, she always all up under you. she a friend hogger ken, you never catch her hanging out with Erin, or by her self for that matter. she always gotta be with you. That ain't cool, and Erin why you told her where you were this morning and not me. I'm supposed to be your bestfriend" she said getting worked up.

"I told her first because she texted me, you obviously ain't a good friend you wasn't even worried about me" Erin said

"Ain't we all supposed to be bestfriends, and if you want me to I'll hang out with y'all more if you feel she got to much of my attention. But I need you guys to atleast talk it out because this beef in squad is not working for me." I said

Jade let out a sigh.

"Fine whatever"

"Go talk to her now, in the bathroom so y'all can have privacy" Erin said.

Jade got up and rolled her

eyes and began walking to the bathroom.
