I flat ironed my hair and headed down stairs.
My dad and step mom were in the kitchen.
"Morning daddy" I said walking pass my step mom.
"You don't see anyone else?" He asked
"Oh, sorry good morning Erin" I said looking in a mirror on the wall
He must be smoking if he thinks I'm
going to say good morning to that lady.
My step mother shook her head and walked away.
"You need to learn how to respect her, she may not be your mother but she is an adult" my dad said .
"Oh," I said grabbing my bag and walking out the door.
