"So you think they actually gone make up?" I asked Kenzie

"Ion even know to be honest." She said shaking her head.

Just then Manny walked in.

I rolled my eyes. Here come this nigga.

Manny walked up to our table. " Can I talk to you for a minute?"

I looked at Kenzie. She motioned for me to go so I went.

We walked out into the empty hallway.

"What?" I said with an attitude.

"Man why you being like that?"

"Being like what? Do you remember what happened? What you said? We not even together and you wanted to have sex!" I replied

Manny grabbed me by my waist. " I invited you over because I thought we were together."

The bell for next period rang.

"Look that's sweet and all but, I'm done with you." I said walking away.

I walked in to geometry and sat in a seat next to Brandon. We never really talked much but he was cool.

I only knew him for the parties he threw.

"Yo you going to the party right?" he said looking at me.

"Yea why?"

"Just making sure, we gotta have all the fires there" he said smiling.

I smiled and got back to work.

"So you think you'd be able to come over and help me set up?" he asked.

I thought about it for a minute. I didn't really know him.

"Umm I'm kinda busy, later... so"

"Oh, well I better see you at the party though"

I smiled "you will"
