Chapter 7: AMA's Practice.

A/N : Hello, guys I know I'm little behind with my writing I've been busy with my back-to-school shopping. I went clothes shopping yesterday, I'm going shoe shopping later today & going to get my backpack today. I just so busy & I have to go to my brother's Meeting The Teacher Day. It's gonna be me, my mom & my brother. A lot of school things I got to get data on my phone. I hope you guys are liking my fanfic I only have 4 days left until school starts. Give me ideas for new chapters or new stories just comment me.

*Tommy's POV*

Sunlight beam into my room & flutterd my eyes open. I strentched out my arms & legs I look at the clock it was 8:45 a.m. I got to get ready. After, I made my bed I walked over to my closet & pick out a black long-sleeve shirt & black jeans I wanted to be comfortable. I walked over to the bathroom & turned on the shower head. I stripped down & entered into the warm water.

    I can't wait to perform today I wonder what song we'll play today. About 8 minutes I got out of shower & dried myself off with the towel & changed into my clothes. I grabbed my black leather boots & put them on. I went towards the door & open to the hallway I took a left turn & went into the closet I got my leather jacket on & went to the stairs. I climbed down the stairs & went into the kitchen.

    I walked over to the cupboard & grabbed a red & black cup. I moved over to the other cupboard & got out some coffee mix I drink coffee sometimes when I need to stay awake for awhile. I got some bread out from top of the microwave & put in the toaster. I open the fridge to grab a carton of eggs & some bacon &  put some of the coffee mix in the coffee maker my mom got me last 6 months ago when I moved in the house. I cracked a egg into the pan & let it cook I put 2 bacon strips into the pan beside it.

    After, the coffee was made I poured it into the cup. I took out the toast from the toaster, the egg & bacon from the pan onto a plate. I grab my cup from the counter & walk to the table & ate my breakfast in silence. I kept thinking about Adam. He was just so perfect everything about him is amazing. His smile, his eyes, his looks, his personality, his voice. I love everything about him.

    Why am I thinking about him? I'm supposed to be straight I'm no suppose to be thinking about guys. I guess I'm not so straight after all. I finished my breakfast & washed my plate & went upstairs to call Adam. I disconnected my phone from the charger & searched up Adam's name I found it & dial his number. After, 3 rings Adam picked up the phone.

"Hello?" Adam sound tired.

"Hey, Adam it's me Tommy," I answered him.

"Oh, hey Tommy. Are you ready?" he asked me.

"As a matter of fact I am. You seem tired, Adam?"

"I just woke up," he replied.

"Oh, sorry to wake you up," he told me.

"It's ok I was gonna wake up anyways. So, do you want to me to pick you up?" he asked me.

"No, I think I'll drive myself to the studio," I answered.

"Ok, I'll meet you there. Just call Monte & he'll give you the directions to the studio," he explained to me.

"Ok, I'll see you there, Adam."

"Bye, Tommy," he replied.

"Bye," I ended the call. I looked through my contact & found Monte's number. I press the call button the phone rang about 5 times before Monte picked it up, "Hello?" he asked.

"Hey, Monte," I answered him.

"Tommy?" he asked.

"Yeah, it's me," I answered him,"I was wondering if you could give me directions to the AMA's studio, so we can rehearse."

"Sure I'll text you the directions & meet you there."

"Yeah, thanks, Monte I'll finish getting ready & text me the directions."

     I ended the call & went downstairs to place a bass into the case. My phone beeped which mean I had a message. I took out my phone it was Monte. I opened the message & read the directions I knew the address I pass it everyday before I go to my house. That's what the building is I've been wondering what that building was. I texted back Monte saying thank you to him & went into my car.

    I started the engine & drove out of my driveway & onto the open road. I got on highway & made my way the studio. I parked my car in the lot & made my way to the front desk. A lady was at the front typing on the computer & writing something down. She looked up from her computer.

"May I help you?" she asked.

"Um. I'm looking for Monte Pittman," I answered.

"What's your name?"

"Tommy. Tommy Joe Ratliff," I answered her.

She typed at the computer,"He's on the stage where the performance will be held," she told me.

"Thank you," I left the desk & looked for the stage. I looked at the signs that are on the doors. I finally found the stage & entered. I look around the room it was huge! I saw Monte, Lisa & Longieun on stage getting their instruments ready,"Hey, guys!" I yelled.

They turn their head towards me,"Hey, Tommy," Lisa called out.

"Hey, Lisa," I called out. I made my way to the stage & got on it,"How are guys doing?"I asked.

"Pretty good, what 'bout you?" Monte asked.

"Good, when can we start?" I question Monte.

"When Adam gets here he said he'll be here soon," Monte answered.

"Ok, can I help you with anything?" I asked.

"Well, I need help setting up my drums," Longieun said.

"Ok, I'll help you," I told him.

"Follow me," Longieun led me ti him drum set.

"So, where do we start?" I asked.

"Well, I started with left side of the set, so we'll work our way," Longieun explained to me. I nodded & he led me one of the drums. After, me & Longieun finish the set I heard Adam's voice,"Hey, guys!" he called out.

"Hey, Adam!" Monte called out.

"Did you guys start without me!" Adam questioned us while making his way down on the steps.

"No, none of us know how to sing like you!" I called out.

"Thank you, Tommy," he made it up to the stage.

"Let's get started, but Tommy we need you to help Lisa with the keyboard. Are you able to do that?" he asked me.

"Um, sure I'll be able to do that can Lisa teach me?" I looked towards Lisa.

"Sure, I can teach you," she told me.

"Great, led the the way," I got out of her way.
