After Percy and I got done the whole 'I'm going crazy and I'm gonna lose my mind talk', we finally made it back to the cabin to try and get some actual sleep. Percy knocked out the second his head hit the bed, but I couldn't fall asleep if it meant saving my life. After what had just happened down at the beach, I'm to scared to fall asleep. What if next time I wake up, I really won't be able to tell  what's real and what's not? What if the group can't help me next time?

I lied down on my bed with my hands on my stomach and stared at the ceiling, wondering why? Why was I taken when I was a baby? Why did everything have to play out the way it did? Why did Chase have to die? Why me?

Percy use to tell me that everything happens for a reason, so what's the reason for all of this? I sighed, I guess that's just something I will have to figure out on my own as time goes on. After staring at the ceiling for who knows how long, I sighed and walked over to my dresser, picking out something more comfortable to wear and put it on.

I looked over at Percy's bed when I heard him snore really loud out of nowhere and saw that he had managed to throw the covers off his bed. I sighed and picked up his blankets and put them back on him. I kissed his forehead and walked over to the desk leaving him a note saying that I was going out for awhile and would be back soon. As soon as I got out of the camps border, I shifted into my wolf form and ran. I sighed in content as I felt the wind blowing through my pitch black fur. I stopped running when I saw an old arcade type place that is open 24/7 and shifted back. I walked up to the arcade type place and pushed the door open so I could walk in. I gasped in wonder as I saw everything around me.

The whole place had sort of an 80's vibe to it. There was bright neon lights everywhere along with rows of old style arcade game. I looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was 2:55am. Well, might as well play some game since I'm here. I turned the corner a little to quickly and ran into something hard. I closed my eyes and braced myself for the fall but it never came. I opened my eyes and was met with a pair of beautiful hazel eyes that I know all to well.

"You know if I keep having to catch you I'm gonna have to start calling you Lois Lane." Alex said smiling, helping me to my feet.

"Well then, thank you for catching me again Clark Kent." I smiled playing along.

"So, what's Miss. Whatever your last name is, doing in a place like this, at this time in the morning?" He asked holding his arm out for me to take. I smiled and looped my arm through his.

"You know I could ask you the same thing Mr. Whatever your last name is." I smiled as he brought us to a empty booth and we sat down. "Jackson." I said answering the question he never asked. He smiled and nodded.

"Hemmings." He replied.

"Alexander Hemmings?" I asked and he once again nodded. "How fancy."

"Which is why I stick with just Alex, I don't do all that fancy stuff like my family does."

"So 'just Alex', what bring you here this early in the morning?" He laughed and shook his head.

"Oh no, I asked you first, so I'm not answering until you do Miss. Jackson." He said leaning forward onto the table. I quickly followed his actions so we were in the same stance.

"I couldn't sleep and so I decided to take a walk and found this place." I simply told him. "What about you?"

"Same story as yours, but I've known about this place for a long time." He said and we both leaned back into the seats of the booth. "No one ever comes here anymore."

"Really? But this place is amazing!" I said in shock.

"People have just forgotten about it I guess." He shrugged. "Do you want some food? They have the best nacho's in the world here." He said standing up from the booth.

"Oh, I don't have any money on me right now." I told him and he laughed.

"You are crazy if you think I was going to let you pay if you did have money on you." Alex said going over to the counter to order. I tried to call his name but he just ignored me and kept on walking. A few minutes later he came back to the booth with a huge plate of nacho's.

"Alex, you didn't have-" I was cut off by him putting his index finger to my lips and shushing me.

"Shh. Just shup up and enjoy the nacho's." He laughed. I huffed out a fine and picked up a nacho, shoving it into my mouth, moaning at the taste. "Well?"

"Okay, you were right. These are delicious Alex!" I said shoving another chip in my mouth. He laughed at my reaction, while saying a 'told you so' in between laughs. "Oh you shut up and eat your nacho's Alexander." I smiled at his reaction. He stopped laughing completely and stared at me with a cold face.

"Not cool Jackson. Not cool." He said picking up a chip and putting it in his mouth.

"Don't start something you can't finish Hemmings." I told him holding a chip, pointing it in his direction.

I don't know how long we sat at that booth talking and laughing the night, well, early morning away, all I knew is that when I looked into Alex's eyes, I swear I've seen them before, I just don't know where.
