Princess Allura sat alone in the Blue Lion, holding her knees close to her chest, looking outside of the Lion, looking out at the stars that surrounded her. She sighed quietly, looking at the floor. She heard footsteps behind her. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw the familiar figure of the tanned Cuban boy, Lance McClain. She smiled softly as Lance leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Are you Alright, Allura?" Lance asked as he knelt down beside her. She nodded. "Yes, Lance. Thank you." She smiled a little, leaning back in her seat. Lance smiled softly. "I'm glad."
The two talked for a bit longer, before Lance stood. "We should head back inside, it's getting pretty late." Lance smiled softly. "I'll see you in the morning, Allura." He waved as he walked out of the Lion. Allura smiled softly. "Goodnight, Lance." She stood, looking out at the stars. Goodnight, Lotor. . .
Allura headed out of the Lion, walking inside the Garrison, going to her designated room. She got dressed into a nightgown, tying her hair into a braid. She laid down, and the four Altean mice scurried onto the pillow beside the princess. Allura gently stroked the four mice, before drifting off into a deep sleep.
As morning approached, a loud knock awoke Allura out of her slumber. "Princess!" Coran yelled out for Allura. "Come quick!"
Allura quickly got dressed and rushed out of her room, following Coran to the communication room, where the Paladins, accompanied by Iverson, Shiro, Adam and Romelle, stood. Lance hurried over to Allura, blocking her from the screen in front of them.
"Lance, what is happening?" Allura raised a brow, trying to look over at the screen. Lance continued to block her. Allura's eyes widened once she got a glimpse of the screen. Purple skin, bright yellow sclera, purple eyes. Lotor. . .
"Ah, hello, my dear." Lotor smirked, a scar on his cheek. "It's been a while, has it not?" The young prince tilted his head, raising a brow. Allura stared at Lotor, tears brimming in her blue eyes. She blinked them away, the sadness turned to anger. "Why are you here?!" She spat.
Lotor chuckled devilishly. "My dear, I've been thinking since I left. What if I told you, there's a way to end this war?" Lance turned to the prince. "No one wants your advice! You betrayed us!"
"Ah, the dumb one can speak." Lotor rolled his eyes. "Anyways, I will end this war, for the price of Princess Allura's hand in marriage." Lotor narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms. This garnered a collective reaction of gasps from the room, the loudest gasp came from the princess herself.
