I woke up when I felt someone lay down next to me. I became tense and the person just laid a hand on my arm. I turned my head to look at the person and give them a few words. When I saw who it was, I just laid my head back down.
Maybe my Mikki remembered me and her. Maybe we could keep going the way things were just hours ago.
"Do you remember me?" I ask, not facing her.
"Yes." She answered simply before she began to fall asleep. "But not everything."
