Jungkook's P.O.V.

I arrived at Tae's party. I need something to take my mind off and ease my emotions. When I truly care about someone, they are intense. Especially if it's about her. So today's sight drove me mad. It's not like she can't have any guy friends, but why did they had to be that close and intimate? Who is he anyways? Ugh.

I'm not close to calming at all. Tae's coming my way.

"Hey. Are you enjoying yourself?"

"The party is dope man. For real."

I didn't wanna keep him occupied now, he was tonight's host and he had to be socializing all night long. The party was really good after all. Had I been more in the mood it would have been perfect.

Tae looked at me. "I can tell that you like the party but I know you. Something's off."

As if he was in my head, he already knew what was going on.

"It's about you and her right? I know that look."
I sighed. "Communication problems I guess."

He looked at me again confused. "I don't know what that means but she texted me a while ago."

Huh?

So she took the time to text him and not me, even after we haven't spoken all day long. Awesome.

"She was asking about you."

"She could have texted me to ask how I'm doing instead. Yet she didn't." That's bad.

Tae tried to lighten up the mood.

"Well, I really don't know. There must have been some type of misunderstanding. Since you're here, why don't you try to distract yourself by partying with me? Come onnn!"

He tugged me by the arm in effort of getting me up. I smiled. He understood everything I was feeling and wanted to make me laugh again. I'm really grateful for him and his personality. Such an amazing person.
After all, he was right.

I wasn't the one who went out with some random guy while being intimate and didn't say a word about it. Or didn't even texted afterwards. So now it's my time to have no worries.

"You don't have to tell me twice. Let's get it!"

We both laughed. Tae showed his box smile. "Finallyyy...The dancefloor is full by now. Let's grab a drink and go!"

The area he arranged to be tonight's dancefloor was crouded with various guests, among his friends and coworkers. I didn't know all of them. Except some friends we had in common.

The music was loud and the atmosphere so good. Filled with nice vibes. We lost ourselves in the beat.

I felt an unknown's woman body. She was trying to dance on me, leaving me confused. I stared at her. She looked back at me seductively while we kept on dancing.

"Hey. I've never seen you before." , she voiced. I wanted to keep my distance, but she stepped even closer.

"We don't really know each other." , I replied a bit coldly.

"So why don't we get to know each other better?" Her tone was eager.

I looked around to find Tae as a way to loosen up the situation but he was nowhere to be found.

"Who are you looking for? Are you not enjoying my company?" She took my chin and slowly turned me to her again. I smiled at her blankly.

"It's just that I can't find my best friend. He was right there next to me." I didn't wanna be rude just because my mood was not the best.

"It's Tae, isn't it? And you must be Jungkook. The guy he always talks about at work." Her tone was kinda flirty.

"That's me. So you're coworkers. What could Tae tell you about me?"

She smiled seductively while moving her hips. "Enough things to make people want to meet you."

I laughed at that. "Is that so?"

Her attempt to flirt was now getting more and more obvious. "Yes, it is so. And you seem even more interesting in person." She was staring at me.

I didn't return the compliment since I was not trying to flirt. She got bolder next though.

Once the song reached its chorus, she reached for the hem of my jacket and grabbed me by the waist. We were now inches apart from each other's face.

"...so I wanna keep you close." , she ended her sentence.

I smirked. "And that's your way of doing so?"

"My intentions are clear by now."

This was going kinda far and I didn't wanna keep it so. I slightly pulled away giving us a fair space. "I'm afraid that mine are not though."

The woman smiled lightly, as if this felt normal to her. "I get it. Already taken?"

"Not gonna lie."

She leaned in and kissed my neck, making her way to my ear. "I wasn't expecting otherwise. But if you ever change your mind, you'll know where to find me."

"I don't see this happenning soon. She's just too good. And special."

Furious or not, my feelings wouldn't change. I want her in my life.

The girl tapped my shoulder slightly and walked away. I decided to head to the lounge. I turned around.
