Melody's First Word!!

3rd Point Of View
As the kids are in Chef's office Melody is outside playing on the swings on her own as the group gather around chef as he has a special assignment for everyone. 

Chef: "Okay children i gathered you all here today because....

Izzy: "You forgot to get Melody I'll get her!!!"

Chef: "No because this is about Melody look i need your help!!"

Duncan: "Why should we help you your the one who steals our toys!!"

Jude: "And gives us horrible food ewww!"

Owen: "And what's wrong with Melody?!"

Chef sighs as he looks out the window to see Melody looking at the ground before looking over at him and waving as she climbs up the treehouse.

Chef: "Look if Melody doesn't say a single word by the end of the day Gwen's mom may pull her out of the day-care!!"

The kids gasp except Courtney as she rolls her eyes but is quickly shoved to the floor as the kids rush out to the playroom as they try to form a plan to get Melody to speak.

Cuts to Duncan and Gwen

Gwen: "Mel hasn't spoken a word ever since she was born and I've tried several spells and chants to try to help her!"

Duncan: "There must be a way to help Melody to talk but how?"

Cuts back to the playground

Melody is in the treehouse spying on the group using one of Owen's walkie talkies and a telescope as she tears up and boards up the treehouse with tape and sends a note to the group as she cries silently on her own.

In the Playroom

As the group try to agree on a plan Gwen spots a letter on the ground as she opens it up and runs to show everyone as they all gasp in shock as they spot the telescope and Owen's walkie talkie.

Melody's Note: "Guys you should have told me and not keep it a secret from me i can't believe you all from now on I'm never talking to anyone again!!!!!"

Duncan runs outside and climbs up towards the treehouse as he sees tape covering the front door as he easily moves it and opens the door revealing Melody silently crying as he runs over to her and pulls her close to her as he hugs hug shocking Melody as she responds to it quickly and as he wipes her tears away.

Melody: "Duncan!"

He gasps as Melody laughs at his reactions as he hugs her as he spins her around the treehouse and goes down the slide as he happily tells everyone the news as Melody steps into the playroom.

Melody: "Hi Duncan!"

Chef faints with Gwen and Bridgette tightly hugging her as Duncan smiles at his friend in pride as she has finally found her confidence.
