Ailienas bitterly turned in four cards. Her face softened a bit on seeing the new ones, though. Aelis also turned over four, but looked incredibly unhappy with the ones Allanya handed her. Ava only requested two, and broke into a grin on seeing them. Feloriel asked for three, her expression unreadable. Nowhere requested just one new card, smiling. Her grin didn't change at all when she looked at the new one.

"What have we got?" The six of them flipped their hands over.

"Your turn, Aelis," Allanya declared gently. With a sigh, Aelis pulled off her cloak, fastening the brooch to the strap of her lily pendant instead. Her clothes beneath it were still mostly black, save for the dull silver of her chainmail. Gods, why didn't I think to wear armor?
"Nothing much to see here," Aelis murmured. "Let's just get on with the game."
Allanya gathered up the cards and passed the deck to Ailienas. "Let's make this round a good one."
