Chapter 1

Ida Skye's POV-

After being told by Beta James that my Father wanted to speak with me immediately, i started making my way through the pack house to my Dad's office.

I hurried through the wide corridor and into the kitchen as a short cut to my Dad's office before accidentally bashing into Myles, the Beta's son.

We both yelled out in pain as a mug of boiling hot coffee was chucked up in the air and landed all over us both, I jumped back frantically pulling off my top before the mug came flying back down and smashed onto the kitchen floor, exploding into tiny pieces.

"OH MY DAYS MYLES!" I screamed, grabbing two tea towels from the kitchen side and chucking one at Myles face.

I winced as I dabbed it over my body where the coffee had burnt, running to the sink and wetting the towel before I once again dabbed it over my body to soothe the pain.

"WHAT THE HELL IDA-"

"Skye." I said firmly, interrupting him mid-sentence, I could tell Myles was annoyed because he only ever called me by my first name when he was.

"URG, I DONT CARE, THAT WAS YOUR FAULT!" He protested, glaring at me.

I glared back before Myles' Mother Esme ran into the kitchen.

"What's with all the screaming and shouting?!" She asked in a quite tone of voice, although laced with anger. I followed her eyes which gazed at the floor then back at me and Myles.

Myles shot both his hands in the air, dropping the tea towel.

"This was not my fault." He hesitated, taking a step back. "Skye came bolting round the corner and ran straight into me whilst I was holding a cup of coffee."

I shot him an evil smirk.

"That's so not what happened, I was heading for my dad's office when you walked straight into me and covered me in roasting hot coffee!" I shouted back at my own defence.

Even though it kind of was my fault for running, my hair and outfit were completely ruined, so why not put up a fight..?

"Liar" He sniggered.

"Myles." Esme said

"Do not call Skye a liar, it's rude, now apologies." She spoke, her voice soft yet stern.

I swung my head to Myles and grinned widely, we were both the same age, 16.

We're practically siblings, since we've known each other since I could remember, he's only three days older then me but to him that really didn't matter, he always made it seem like i was his five year old little sister.

I raised my eyebrows, as if to say 'where's my apology?'.

"Well?" Esme asked.

He ran his fingers through his short black hair, his wet t-shirt clinging to his abs, all the girls fancied Myles, I could see why, but I've never liked him that way.

His brown eyes stared into mine as he gave me a sarcastic smile.

"Sorry." He huffed.

"For calling you a mean word, not for the fact that you ran into me." He admitted, continuing with his sarcastic smile.

"Apology accepted!" I said happily, with a fake, over-the-top smile printed on my face.

Myles rolled his eyes.

"Well it looks like we better clear this mess up, any one would think that the kitchens the new training area!" Esme added.

"-and um Skye, Honey, I think it would be best if you went and put some clothes on." She suggested.

"You too Myles."

I gazed down at my chest before realising what she meant. I blushed in embarrassment.

I ran to the door then turned back to face Esme.

"Go on, I'll tidy up, you need to hurry and get changed. You need to see your Father remember!" I gave her a innocent smile before shooting up the stairs and running to my room.

I was attacked by dozens of wolf whistles due to my uncovered chest.

I pelted into my room and quickly stripped off, the strong stench of coffee filled my senses as I walked into my bathroom.

"LIAR!" Someone called from outside my room.

I chuckled to myself knowing it was Myles who was most probably going to his room to change.

I turned the dial on the shower, checking the temperature before stepping in and washing away the unmistakeable stench of coffee.

It took me quite a while and I know noting much happened yet I just wanted you to see some of the characters.
