He walked along the alley walls of the crumbling city. Walls lacerated with cracks, dents and graffiti. The red that reflected and eminated off neon signs contrasted with his purple jacket.
It was sure a waste as he was stuck here, but he himself was a monster of itself.
I climbed the fire escape up to the top of the building, jumping from landing to landing to climbing up the wall using the holes and things sticking out the rest of the way.
He got to the top as he readied his equipment. He looked at the polaroid that someone had gave him of a man and his location.
After about an hour, his target came out. He waited til the right moment until his victim was soon no more.
Not much sound came out but a slight pang through the temple as his victims death was quick. He was finished.
He made a quick way down as he entered phone, tapping on a specific number and waiting for an answer.
"Is it done?" The anonymous voice came from the phone,
"Yeah. I'll have the proof over there in a bit"
"Good. I'll bring you your award"
The phone clicked off as he made his way to the body on the street. He pulled out his camera as he took shots, then walking away clean.
Stepping down an alley he was greeted by a hooded man about his hight. The man looked around as he handed him an envelope before leaving shortly after.
He looked inside to see what he was promised, as he smirked, counting the cash before stuffing it in his backpack.

He leaned against the cement wall, flicking the ash of his cigarette and blowing out smoke, filling the small space.
He didn't notice as footsteps inched closer to him. He looked over to see a person next to him, he lifted himself up from his slouching position to better face him with his hand over the pocket that hid his gun. The newcomer wore a white lab coat that draped over his legs to the ground and the edges seemed to be splattered with a slightly glowing substance,
"Virgil, I presume?" The man spoke in a proper mannerism.
"I can only assume the one and only, what do you want." Virgil leaned back against the wall as he brought the smoke up to his mouth.
"I hear your a well known terrorist around here"
"And, are you here to strike a deal or befriend a demon." Virgil took the cigarette from his mouth and blew out another set on smoke into the air,
"Well, i do indeed have a person of interest."
"Shoot" Virgil lifted and set his arms on his thighs with a sarcastic manner,
"Well, there is this man, his name is Roman. He's from a royal mafia family and lives on the other side of the wall, but he tends to cross the wall to have 'fun'"
"Mhm.." Virgil threw the the cigarette to the ground and smashed it with his shoe, "is he inoccent or is he infected?"
"Not sure, but im sure it'll be fun to find out. My recommendation is to rendezvous with him, he tends to go to the Blood Moon Nightclub to take in the scene, be a rich asshole and be suffocated with woman."
Virgil nodded, "And how much will it be? Im pretty sure I'll need a few pounds to kill a noble"
"Im offering as much as you want"
Virgil smirked, "anything?"
The man nodded. Virgil got out a notebook from his back and wrote a number, then handing it to the man with crossed arms and a smirk.
"Im sure i can arrange this" the man looked up at Virgil.
"Then its settled then. Is there a date?"
The man shook his head, "take your glorious time." The man turned to leave when Virgil spoke up,
"Hey. What's your name?" Virgil asked, tilting his head, the man looked back as his smile seemed to glow in the dark,
"Logan."
(sorry if things escolated pretty quickly, im just trying to hurry up so i can get to the actual story which will start with the next chapter)
