"Alright, what should we do today?"
I reply, "well, nothing involving going out, if I'm caught with you, they'll think you took me."
"Very true. Hmm, what could a guy and a girl do inside together.." He smirked.
"Watch it mister."
"Kidding, kidding, chill Lex."
"You're such a boy."
"Really? I mean, I'm not a boy or anything." The sarcasm in his voice showed, but a grin was on his face, sparkle in his eyes.
"I've been waiting for you to confess!"
"That was mean," Anthony chuckled.
I laughed back. "We should.."
"We should what?"
"Play a game? Hide n' seek, I haven't played in ages."
"Do we look like little kids to you?"
I gave him my best sad face and stared up at him.
He sighed, "fine."
"Yay!"
"You have an advantage, you're short.."
"Tell me something I don't know. You're it!" I ran off and hid, leaving Anthony to count.
Where to hide. I scrambled around, slamming his door, just to make it seem as if I was in there.
Ah-hah.
When I took a shower, there was a small door inside that looked like it might be for storage. That is where I'll hide!
I ran to the bathroom, quietly opened and shut the door. When I went to open the little door, it was jammed. Awe fudge.
I heard Anthony enter his room, sucker, then panicked because of how close he was.
Out of my severe panic attack, I managed to rip open the door, unfortunately, it caused a loud bang.
"Oh no." I mumbled to myself.
Out of the heat of the moment I jolted up, then ran to the tub and laid as flat as I could.
"I heard that Lex!" Anthony came charging into the room, oh snap.
"Did you really crawl in there?" He said, I supposed he was talking about the storage room. "It's going to take some effort for me to get in there, but when I do, I'll get you."
I peered over the tub, then saw his second foot disappearing into the room. I took that moment to slam the small door behind him. "Sucks to suck."
"Princess," he paused, "if you don't let me out of here right now, you better run like you've never run before." The tone of his voice was playful.
"Umm, no, I don't feel like it."
He kicked open the door and started climbing out, feet first.
"Don't say I didn't warn you."
"Smart Lex, smart," I thought to myself.
I ran, but wasn't going quick enough apparently.
"No fair, you're tall with long legs, I can't outrun you." I tried to distract him as he had me pushed against the wall. He had my arms pinned to my side with a look of accomplishment covering his face.
"What should revenge be?"
"A hug, and you telling me how amazing I am."
"You'd want that. No." Anthony continued to grin as always, though this time it was devious.
"My input should matter."
"What to do with you now.." He contemplated and ignored my statement.
"I'll make you a sandwich!"
"Too easy."
"I'll... Make me a sandwich?"
"Lex."
"I'll make both of us a sandwich?"
"If you say sandwich one more time.."
"Sannnnddd-" he cut me off and put his lips to mine.
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't move.
He pulled away and smirked, "you like me, don't you."
"No."
"Then how come you didn't move?" Anthony winked.
"You had me pinned to the wall, smart one."
"You didn't even try to move! Not even a little, your face didn't move away either, I was only holding your arms. You like me."
"Says the one who kissed me."
Ohh, I got him.
"I don't like you." Well that hurt.
"But you kissed me!"
"To make you shut up, didn't work."
"Excuse you. You could have covered my mouth."
"You'd bite me!"
How'd he know?
"I could have bit you anyway!"
"But you didn't." Now his grin grew wide as he was now certain that I liked him. Though I was barely aware of that myself.
"I hate you."
"Lies."
I sighed in annoyance. He was right. I went to the kitchen, grabbed a water and stormed off to his room, making sure to slam the door.
Then I heard a shout. "It's alright, I like you too."
