Obscure (Nash Grier)

Nash's POV

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!!" Emily yells running into my house and bringing me into a hug.

"You too!" I say laughing.

"Guess what!" 

"What?" I ask.

"Cameron is coming home tomorrow and he has a girlfriend!"

Looks like Cameron made a move on a girl faster than I could on Emily..

"That's good." I say.

She smiles and runs off to do something else. Gosh she is so perfect. Her every move puts me in a trance, I can't help but stare.

"Why haven't you made a move yet?" My mom says looking at me.

"Mom, it's not that easy and she doesn't like me like that."

"Nash, stop being so obscure. She doesnt like you, she is in love with you, just as you are with her."

"I am not obscure, mom. Just quit."

"I'm not going to quit until you two are together.." She says walking away to greet Emily and her family.

I don't know why she called me obscure. I obvioulsy know Emily isn't in love with me. I wish she was though, but right then Emily caught me off gaurd by jumping on my back.

"Let's go open presents Hamilton."

"Don't you dare call me that!" I yell jokingly.

"Buuut I did." she says and jumps off my back running and falling over Tanner onto Hayes.

"Sorry." she says laughing so hard she almost cried. 

There she goes again. Laughing, my favorite thing ever. 

"Present time!" her mom yells with a smile.

Emily's POV

"I shall hand them out." I say. I'm in such a good mood today, I cannot wait for Nash to see his present I got him.

"Hamilton, this is for you!" I say with a big smile.

He shakes his head at the name and opens the gift. I see his small smile turn into a huge one.

"Oh my god, Emily! How did you know I wanted this?" Nash says looking down at his new lacross things that he has been wanting forever.

"There is more." I say smiling as he takes the lacross things out to get to the bottom.

"I love the lacross things, but I definately love this more." He says picking up all the pictures of him and I that I got printed. He gets up and brings me into a huge hug. I wish I never had to let go..

"Here is yours, from Nash, Emily." Elizebeth says handing me mine.

I open it up and smile. "Nash, you did not have to get me this." 

It was the poloroid camera that could print black or white, I have been wanting it for so long.

"There is one more thing." He says smiling.

I look down to see a phone case with a picture of us both from when we were 3.

"Oh my gosh, this is the cutest thing ever." I say jumping up and huging him again.

Thats pretty much how the rest of our Christmas went, opening endless presents and eating. I think I finally realized why I am so happy today - I got to spend Christmas with the person I am in love with. I really do hope there is a chance I could spend every Christmsa with him, but I don't think that could ever happen, he will find someone who he loves back one day and I will still just be his best friend..
