Nash's POV

I woke up the next morning to my cell phone ringing. 

"Hello?" I answer tiredly.

"Nash, wake up! It's 12 and we are meeting Cameron and his new girlfiend for lunch at 1 today!"

"Okay okay Im up."

"My mom and I will be there at 1240."

"Okay love you."

"Love you, bye.'' 

I love when she says that. I love you. I'm glad we get to see Cam today, he is our other best friend since we met him in 8th grade, we are now sophmores. I wish I was able to make a move on Emily. Ugh, i better get ready..

I brushed my teeth and styled my hair, then I put on Khakis and an addidas hoodie that I got for Christmas. Then, I went down stairs slipped on my Vans, grabbed my phone, put my wallet in my pocket, just in time because the door  bell rang.

''Good afternoon." I say to Emily.

"Good afternoon to you too sir, now lets go! I might have a friend that is a girl now!"

Yeah, she hates all girls at our school because they all are drama.

I just laugh and get in the car. Shortly after the car pulls into applebees. 

"Thanks for the ride mom!" Emily says and gets out.

"Yes, thank you." I say getting out and following Emily in. As we wait for a table I admire how beautiful she looks right now, she has her hair curled, makeup on, a pair of skinny jeans, her silver sparkle Uggs, a vneck, and a flannel over it. She is so gorgeous.

"Cam!" Emily yells and runs to hug him.

"Hey bro!" I say and bring him in for a hug.

"Hi, I'm Madison.'' a girl says coming from behind Cameron and skakes mine and Emily's hands.

Emily and Madison sit by eachother and are whispering about random things.

"She yours yet man?'' Cameron whispers.

"No, I don't even think she likes me other than just a best friend."

"Oh my gosh, grow up or open your eyes, she is in love with you. Take a chance Nash. Look where taking a chance got me! A girlfriend!'

"Yeah but it is not that easy for me."

"Whatever Nash. Stay single and crushing on her forever because at this rate that's how it looks."

I just roll my eyes, but maybe I should take a chance?

Emily's POV

Madison and I are talking about how I like Nash. She is so nice and gives amazing advice.

"I think Nash likes you, Emily, the way he watches you and smiles at the things you do." Madison whispers.

"I don't know.."

"Trust me, thats what Cameron did right before he asked me out."

"Really?" I say.

"Yes! Nash will ask you out soon."

"I hope.. It is so nice having a friend I can talk to this about. I'm glad Cam met you!"

"Trust me, me too! Cameron is such an amazing boyfriend, and it's nice to have a friend that knows a lot about Cameron." she says laughing.

I smile and look over at Nash, he was staring at me. Does he like me? That would be amazing.
