Emily's POV

As I sit on the couch eating chocolate covered peanuts and watching a movie I think of Nash. Why would he choose her over me, then come back and choose me? Does he like me like I like him? Yes? Maybe? No..

The doorbell rings so I go to open it. Nash was standing there with flowers, but drops then as he sees me and pulls me into his arms.

He took me by surprise but I hugged back.

"Emily I've already said this but I'm so sorry." He says into my hair.

"It's okay." I say with a smile and pull back.

He bent down and picked up the flowers.

"For you."

"Thank you sir."

He smiles and we walk down to the basement.

"Emily I have to tell you something I have been wanting to tell you for I don't even know how long." He blurts out.

"Okay." I say nervous of what he is gonna say.

"I like you- no scratch that I'm in love with you. I'm so tired of denying myself and everyone else. I'm completely crazy in love with you."

"Nash-" I start but he cuts me off.

"Please tell me you feel the same because I want to be able to kiss you whenever I want, hold you all the time, go on dates with you, do cute things for yo-" he continues but I stop him.

"I feel exactly the same." I say.

"Don't lie."

"I'm not." I laugh and connect our lips.

"I wanna ask you out right now, but it has to be perfect, like you.'' He says and I laugh.

"Okay nash."

"But what I can do is kiss you and know that it means exactly the same to you as it does to me." He says and kisses my lips gently again.

"I love you."

"And I love you."

"Is this real life?" He asks.

"Yes?"

"Good because I've had so many dreams of this moment."

"So have I."

These moments right here, were the best of my life.

Nash's POV

When she said she felt the same I died inside. She's asleep in my arms right now and I'm trying to figure how to ask her out. It needs to be so perfect.

"Nash?" Tanner whispers walking in.

"Yes?"

"Please don't hurt her."

"I wouldn't dream of it."

He just nods and walks away.

I study her face. Her long lashes, her already red cheeks, the way her lips are curved into a smile. She's happy.

And I'm the reason why.

I would never want to make that smile go away.
