Shay's POV

My girls and I decided to go out to the beach house because we knew the guys from Mindless Behavior were going to be there. We already knew they had a thing for us, so we figured, why not head over?

Later that evening, things got a little intense.

"Look, I like you and everything, but why you bugging?" I asked.

"Because you cute, and I've been into you for a while now," Roc said.

"Well, thanks... and I like you too." I said, smiling.

Suddenly, he started kissing me. I had known him for a bit, but I never realized he liked me in that way.

"Umm, Roc..." I mumbled.

"Shhh..." he whispered, picking me up and pulling me onto his lap.

Right then, Y/N walked in. As soon as she saw what was going on, she immediately turned around and walked back out.

"Wait... wait!" I said, putting my hands up to create some space. But he just kept trying to kiss me. "Stop kissing me. I'm not even that type of girl." I insisted, sliding over to the complete opposite side of the couch.

He was cute and all, but I already knew where that kissing was going to lead. I'm just not that kind of girl, and I don't get down like that. Besides, I barely even know him—I just know of him.

Before things could get any more awkward, everyone else walked back into the room.

"Y'all, it's 8:00. We gotta go! Y'all already know how my mama is." Jaylie said, checking her phone.

"I'll drop y'all off!" Prince offered.

"Bye, Shay..." Roc said, flashing me a smile.

"Bye." I replied, giving him a quick wave.

"Nigga, you ain't gotta say bye to the rest of us!" Y/N joked, laughing.

"My bad! Bye, y'all!" he laughed back.

As we walked out, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I really liked him a lot, but he was a player and everybody knew it. I just don't want to get hurt.
