"Our room is on the 6th floor," Emery tells Lea as we exit the taxi.
Emery pulls out her phone dialing her mom. I laugh as Lea helps me into the hotel lobby. People start staring at us with weird looks and talk amongst themselves.
"Look at that ugly girl we should kill her," I hear a man whisper to a woman.
I stop looking at the couple.
"Don't kill me I'm only 17," I yell at them which makes them leave the lobby.
"They're going to kill me," I turn to Lea grabbing her arm.
"No they said are you okay," she replies looking at Emery.
When we get on the elevator I stare at my reflection in the glass wall. I chuckle poking my reflection in the face. I hear a ding and I'm pulled out by Lea.
"This is it," Emery takes out the key card swiping it in the lock.
When the door opens Lea rushes me in then sits me on the bed. I laugh bouncing on the bed loving how squishy it is.
"Mom I don't know what to do I'm freaking out," Emery starts crying putting her hand on her head.
Lea takes off my shoes then wipes something off my face.
"You're so pretty," I smile leaning close to her.
"No she didn't drink any alcohol and no one spiked her drink but she's acting really weird," Emery paces back and forth on the floor shaking her free hand.
I kiss Lea and she pulls away looking at me.
"You're a good kisser," I chuckle biting my lip.
Lea looks at Emery who just shrugs replying back to her mom. I feel my phone buzz from my back pocket and an awesome ringtone plays.
Emery pauses her eyes growing wide.
"That's her brothers answer it," she tells Lea who snatched my phone and answers the call.
"Hello," Lea hesitates biting her lip.
I start taking off my shirt but Lea stops me shaking her head. I cross my arms in front of my chest rolling my eyes.
"Uhm this is her friend Lea; Mavis is in the shower and Ella wanted me to answer," Lea replies putting her hand on her hip.
"No silly I'm right here," I laugh standing up.
"Oh I guess she just got out here I'll pass the phone to her," Lea hesitates but hands me the phone.
"Hold on," Emery says to her mom and looks at me.
"Hello sexies," I giggle and Emery slaps her forehead.
"Scarlett? Are you drunk," Dean asks concern rising in his voice.
"Nope but I," I stop feeling something turn inside my stomach.
I groan placing my hand in front of my stomach.
"Scarlett," Dean asks again but I don't answer.
I drop my phone clinching my stomach starting to feel lightheaded.
"Emery," I say before darkness engulfs me.
•••••••••••••••••••
I wake up in a field filled with sunflowers. I look down to see a white dress on me sparkling in the sunlight. A light breeze goes through me making the sunflowers dance around me.
A white light appears in front of me revealing my mom smiling at me.
"Mama," I laugh running to her.
She embraces me with a hug kissing the top of my head.
"I love you baby," she hugs me tighter chuckling.
"Mom what's happening to me," I pull away looking up to her with teary eyes.
"You don't understand now but let time past and it'll become clear," she puts her hand against my cheek smiling.
"Please don't go," I close my eyes then open them to see I'm in another field but this time the sunflowers are dead, and the sun is a reddish color.
"Mom," I look around frighten.
The ground starts to shake and crows fly out of the sunflower field. The ground breaks to reveal bodies rising from the ground. Not in a zombie way, but not in a I'm alive way either. The bodies have pale skin, with black eyes, and a carving of a symbol on their chest.
I back away looking around to see the bodies surrounding me mumbling something that I don't understand.
"Stop," I yell and the bodies freeze up in solid ice.
I breathe heavily going up to one of the bodies. I tap on the ice causing it to break. The body looks at me pointing a figure behind me.
I turn to see a man with red eyes calling me over to him. I step back not listening to the unknown man.
"This is your future," I hear a loud whisper from the side of me.
"No," I step back again shaking my head.
The bodies then morph into those who did me wrong even from kindergarten.
"Make them pay," the voice hisses.
"Please show mercy on me," Tiffany, the girl who use to bully me in 7th grade, begs falling on her knees crying.
Another me steps in front of Tiffany with red eyes. The other me raises her hand and Tiffany chokes on her own blood then falls to the ground lifeless.
"Make them pay," the other me turns to me saying then vanishes.
I shoot up in a hospital bed with an iv stuck in me. I take deep breaths looking around to see Emery asleep on the chair with Lea asleep on the couch.
I look down at my hands seeing a red glow come from them. I look back up to see my eyes turn red in the mirror above the sink. Panic rises in me along with confusion.
The mirror fogs up revealing somethings handwriting.
'Make them pay'
