18. [Midorima x reader]

It's the middle of November, which means final exams are coming. There's been a lot on your mind lately -exams, quizzes, final projects, unfinished assignments, another additional assignments- which made you look like a walking zombie. You really want to keep good grades but seeing the schedule, which seems pretty full, makes you worried more.

While you were walking on the hallway, you bumped into someone which happen to be your junior, Midorima Shintarou. And yes you're a senior and you've known each other since you're little because he lives next to your house.

"(Y-y/n)?"

"..."

"(Y/n)?"

"Oh! H-hi! Shintarou!"

"You're spacing out, nanodayo"

"Hehe sorry!"

"Where're you going? I-it's not like I care or anything!"

"To the library, you know exams are coming, assignments need to be done, projects need to be finished, and moreover (least fav subject) test is tomorrow... sighs."

"N-need some help with (least favorite subject)? N-not that I want to help you or anything."

"That'll be great! But you just said you don't want to help me." You teased him.

"So you don't need help, well then I'll go." He said as he started to walk away.

"Ehh, Shintarou! I'm just kidding!"

He turned back to you and started to walk to the library, leaving you behind.

"Mou, Shintarou!" You pouted while walking behind him.

In the library

He taught you about (least fav subject) and sometimes you took a glance at him, admiring his serious face and his willingness to help you. Takao had told you several times that Midorima likes you and you liked him back. But the two of you didn't have courage to tell your feelings. Well, at least the two of you help each other and he inspired you to be a better person without you knowing that the same goes with him.

Maybe in the future, either you or him, will admit those feelings to the other person.

Facts and ideas Corner :
This isn't the Midorima x reader that I was talking about in the previous chapter and sorry it's not fluff nor happy ending and short.

My 2019 will be a new battle since I was assigned in different class with my close friends. It's been so long since I opened up to people and without me realizing it, she means a lot to me. And we won't be so often meeting each other.

And in the end, the battle is between us and ourselves.
