It’s been one year since we were apart. I couldn’t believe I would say this to anyone but, I miss you, so much. The book which I’m holding right now, the pages were turned by my right hand automatically, each shown the faces of either mine or yours or both. This book brought me back to those moments; the time when I asked you to be my girlfriend, our first date, birthday celebrations, christmas and new years party and dates, and so on. The pages stopped turning as I saw our pictures of celebrating our first christmas together. Even though the page shown our first christmas, my mind went way back to our first time meeting.

Our first time meeting wasn’t that kind of happy nor sweet like what most of the couples were feeling when they first met. I still remember how you suddenly went into the changing room while I was alone crying my heart out after losing the match and you hugged me out of nowhere. That was so brave of you and remembering these things are what make me miss you more. I wish you would come back.

I know it’s painful for you, but I hope you also know that my heart is aching to see you like this.

I remember the first time we met. I knew that you’ve given your best and the feelings that I’d been keeping, I just wanted you to know. I want you to be happy and I want you to know that I’d be happy to spent my times together with you.

I remember the time we used to walk home together. You used to walk ahead of me when you were happy, making me remember the outlines of your back. The way your hair moved as it was blown by the wind, the way you walked along with little jumps or tip toeing, and sometimes you would turned your head back to me, only to give your brightest smile. I really wanted to see you again.

What were you doing? What were you watching? I wonder if you still remember things about me. Wherever you are, please be happy and move on from this lifetime though I secretly hope that we could meet again, someday, sometime, in another lifetime.

All of this seemed unreal. I still couldn’t believe on how we would be apart this soon but it’s the reality. The fact that we couldn’t be together like we used to be.

One thing I want you to know, no matter where you’re, you are my light in this lifetime and so the next will be.
