Chapter 37

Jay was clearly embarrased by his accusation so I changed the topic to something different.

"What is the plan for today?", I asked him typing on my laptop.

He looked on his screen and studied the schedule for today.

" Interviews, visiting AJ and the baby and you have a meeting with Simon later on about his album and also Loco", Jay listed.

I raised my eyebrow as I heard Locos name since I was sure that he would not ask for my advice. Jay met my wondering gaze and just smiled. My back made it not very easy to sit so I headed to the bar table in the corner and looked at the paperwork that was on my table this morining.

" We will leave in 20 min for the interviews. It is quiet far from here. Will you be able to do it with your back?", Jay asked me worried as he came over to where I was standing.

I nodded.

" I got an injection so after it kicks in I will be fine. Let us just go through the details", I said and we both got to work. It was an interview with Billboard who wanted to interview the new CEO at AOMG. Since BTS gained so much popularity in the past K-Pop became a unstoppable wave. It benefited the whole industry since we make music like any other artist. We just received a bigger platform to share our music and art.

The day passed with interviews and a meeting with Simon and Loco about their music. It was mostly them showing us new music they had made and asking us for their opinion. It was great to hear the raw versions of the songs and giving advice on what can be improved. Simon loved my ideas and seemed super excited while Loco was more passive about it. There was something that he hid from us. He showed a colder attitude than usual and Jay not having any of it and asked him to meet him in his office tomorrow. There as no use in trying to talk to him today and we both knew it.

"Jay something happened with Loco. There is something that is burdening him", I said as we got inside his car heading to AJs place.

Jay started the engine and just exhaled.

"Yeah but he does not want to talk about it. I am worried since this is the first time I am seeing him like this", Jay said frowning.

By now the day almost came to an end and the sun was setting fast. Although Loco and I did not have the best relastionship I admired his work and I knew that he was a good guy deep down. He was there since the first day I met Jay and the journey after. Also I felt responsible for the team and I would not be a bystander when their world breaks apart.  Immersed in thoughts we both drove in silence to AJs house. As we reached the front door we heard screams. Jay looked at me panicked and we both ran towards the house. BTS was there and also AJ. She was hovering her baby and crying bitterly. Jungkook was pale. I pushed the crowd aside and looked on what had caused the brutal scene. Jane was in her crib but she was screaming and turning blue. I added one plus one and realised that she must have swallowed something that got stuck in her throat and cutting of the oxygen supply.

I went over and took Jane into my arms and tried to think.

"What happened?", I screamed over the crying crowd.

"She was eating and then this happened. We called the ambulance but...", Jungkook said sobbing.

I lay Jane over my leg gently and rubbed her back with a slight force so that she would cough off the food. AJ looked at me in a trance and Jungkook couldn't stand to look at this scence and tried to stop me. Yoongi held him back.

" Let her help. If not then...", he started but stopped himself on speaking any further. Jay looked at me and whispered to me: " It is not working".
