CHAPTER 3

"Knock Knock!" a stranger shouts from the outside of the house. Mrs Hale opens door.

"Good morning neighbour" the lady says with a bright and wide smile on her face.

"Good morning" Mrs hale says giving back a friendly smile.

"Welcome to the neighborhood, my name is Olivia Huffman, I live over that house" she says as she shakes her hand then points at the house at the left of the house.

"Nice to meet you Olivia, my name is Hannah Hale" Mrs Hale says.

"Awesome, so if you need anything I'm right next door"

"Thank you"

Olivia nods her head before she walks away, then Mrs Hale closes the door. Mrs Hale goes back to arranging the furniture. Meanwhile, Felicity is in her room video chatting with Shane.

"So how's the new neighborhood?" Shane asks.

"It's okay so far, I haven't met any of the neighbors yet"

"Well, you haven't really went anywhere since you arrived" Shane says shrugging his shoulders.

"It hasn't even been one whole day yet" Felicity exclaims.

"Alright, don't kill me" Shane says wryly.

"We're not even in the same country for me to kill you Shane" Felicity says laughing then suddenly her beautiful, bright smile changes into a frown.

"Don't get all sad now Shay, please cheer up, I want to see your beautiful smile" Shane says attempting to cheer her up, "It will get easier I promise you" Shane responds.

"I just want to say that if I get new friends, I want you to know that you'll always be my closest friend"

Shane smiles then a frown comes then he smiles again to suppress what he was feeling.

"So how are you my dear Shane?" Felicity says.

"I am great" Shane says. Felicity suspects that Shane is not telling the truth.

"Okay, if you say so, just so you know, I know something is wrong with you and I will find out eventually"

"Okay but I don't know what you are talking about, nothing is wrong"

"Let's just change the subject" Felicity annoyed by the fact that he is not telling her the truth. They continue talking for about an hour before Shane says, "Shay, I gotta go now, I'll talk to you later"

"Later" Felicity says as she waves goodbye. Shane waves back and then hangs up. Felicity decides that she is going to eat. She goes downstairs and prepares a small snack to eat. Then she hears a knock on the door. She goes to open the door.

"Hello" a lady says standing at the door with a girl with blonde hair, about Felicity's age standing beside her, "My name is Janet and this is my daughter Rushelle"

"Nice to meet you, my name is Felicity" she says as she shakes Janet's hand. Then Mrs Hale walks to the door.

"Hello my name is Hannah" Mrs Hale says as she shakes Janet's hand.

"I'm Janet and this is my daughter Rushelle"

"Nice to meet you"

"We're sorry for bothering you but it is normal for all the neighbors to greet the new neighbors, is this all of you?"

"No my son is upstairs sleeping and my husband is at work"

"Well it's just me and Rushelle, I hope that your daughter comes to Mellowbrook High school, my daughter also goes there, it's the best school"
